Stone City (Perm Territory)
According to the legend, the Stone City used to be a real city, distinguished by its beauty, but the king's daughter was blind and could not see the beauty of this city. The sorcerer offered the king to heal his daughter, and, after his consent, he healed the princess, but turned all the streets, houses and inhabitants into stone[5].
It is believed that the Stone Town was formed in the riverbed, which flowed in this place millions of years ago, breaking through a semblance of streets and arches with its current, which served as the name of the monument[5][4][6]. The people call the Devil's Settlement or the Turtles (because of their resemblance to them)[5][4].
