Minnetonka City Council Member Gaslights Community
On 9.18.23, the Minnetonka City Council chambers were packed with residents in support of local residents impacted by a violent car-jacking that made national news media. Everyone was there due to the alarming rise in criminal incididents throughout the city. Prior to the effected residents speaking, council member Deb Calvert gaslighted the audience by claiming "crime is down according to the data." Her remarks seconded by council member Rebecca Schack drew astonished looks.
