Don't Buy A Bomb (CAAT Documentary)
Don't Buy a Bomb - war crimes in the court room, embarks on a gripping journey into the heart of one of the world's most devastating conflicts. Directed by Eva McQuade and released by Demilitarise Education (dED_UCATION) in partnership with Campaign Against Arms Trade (CAAT), this groundbreaking documentary exposes the harsh realities of the war in Yemen, including the untold voices of civilians who have lost their lives amidst a flurry of international politics and arms sales. Join us as we delve into the intricate workings of a High Court of Justice appeal, the culmination of a six-year legal battle spearheaded by CAAT against the UK government's unjust arms sales to Saudi Arabia. Since the Saudi-led intervention in 2015, at least 154,000 Yemeni citizens have perished due to military action, with British-made weaponry playing a central role in the devastation. Through a mosaic of perspectives, "Don't Buy a Bomb" paints a vivid picture of the Yemen conflict. From legal experts Erin Alcock and Dearbhla Minogues, to the stirring activism of British-Yemeni poet Amina Atiq, the documentary captures the voices of those directly impacted by the crisis. But this film is more than just a chronicle of suffering – it's a call to action. Through meticulously curated archive footage and expert analysis, it confronts the uncomfortable truth that government complicity and profit-driven agendas fuel the flames of war. With contributions from Andrew Feinstein, Executive Director of Shadow World Investigations, the film uncovers the tangled web of arms deals and diplomatic relationships that perpetuate violence and human suffering. As the documentary unfolds, we are reminded of the urgent need for accountability and justice. "Don't Buy a Bomb" is a testament to the resilience of the Yemeni people and a rallying cry for change. It's time to unmask the truth, demand transparency, and put an end to the senseless violence in Yemen. Join us on this journey of discovery. Watch "Don't Buy a Bomb" and become part of the movement for peace and justice. Subscribe, like, and share to amplify the voices of those fighting for a brighter future.

From Auschwitz To Jerusalem
From Auschwitz to Jerusalem | Full documentary in English
Description:-
On May 14, 1948 in Tel Aviv, David Ben Gurion proclaimed before a thousand people moved to tears the creation of the State of Israel. A speech received by Jews around the world as the fulfillment of the wildest dream: the end of 2000 years of exile. For the survivors of the death camps, the creation of the State of Israel was an immense comfort. But for the 700,000 Palestinians who will flee or be driven out of the new country, it was the start of an injustice. From the first Nazi persecutions to the present day, passing through the tragedy of the Exodus and the UN vote for the partition of Palestine in 1947, this fascinating documentary explains with rigor and without bias the origins of a conflict which still persists...

In the war of 1948 hundreds of Palestinian villages were depopulated. Israelis call it 'The War of Independence. Palestinians call it 'Nakba"'. The film examines one village- Tantura and why "Nakba" is taboo in Israeli society.
The Tantura massacre took place on the night of 22–23 May 1948 during the 1948 Arab–Israeli War, when around 40-200 Palestinian Arab villagers from Tantura were massacred by the Israeli Defense Force's Alexandroni Brigade. The massacre occurred following Tantura's surrender, a village of roughly 1,500 people in 1945 located near Haifa. The victims were buried in a mass grave, which today serves as a car park for the nearby Tel Dor beach.
Oral testimonies by surviving Palestinians were met by skepticism. A corroborative 1988 thesis by an Israeli Haifa University graduate Theodore Katz, who interviewed survivors, was also met with denial. In 2022 an Israeli documentary film called Tantura, several Israeli veterans interviewed said they had witnessed a massacre at Tantura after the village had surrendered. In 2023 Forensic Architecture published its commissioned investigation of the area and concluded that there were three potential gravesites in the area of the Tel Dor beach that were connected to a massacre.

Conducted by the Joint Intelligence Objectives Agency (JIOA), it was largely carried out by special agents of the U.S. Army's Counterintelligence Corps (CIC). Many of these personnel were former members and some were former leaders of the Nazi Party.

'Operation Gladio'
Originally aired on BBC2 in 1992, 'Operation Gladio' reveals 'Gladio', the secret state-sponsored terror network operating in Europe.
This BBC series is about a far-right secret army, operated by the CIA and MI6 through NATO, which killed hundreds of innocent Europeans and attempted to blame the deaths on Baader Meinhof, Red Brigades and other left wing groups. Known as 'stay-behinds' these armies were given access to military equipment which was supposed to be used for sabotage after a Soviet invasion. Instead it was used in massacres across mainland Europe as part of a CIA Strategy of Tension. Gladio killing sprees in Belgium and Italy were carried out for the purpose of frightening the national political classes into adopting U.S. policies.

Ukraine On Fire
Ukraine. Across its eastern border is Russia and to its west-Europe. For centuries, it has been at the center of a tug-of-war between powers seeking to control its rich lands and access to the Black Sea. 2014's Maidan Massacre triggered a bloody uprising that ousted president Viktor Yanukovych and painted Russia as the perpetrator by Western media. But was it? "Ukraine on Fire" by Igor Lopatonok provides a historical perspective for the deep divisions in the region which lead to the 2004 Orange Revolution, 2014 uprisings, and the violent overthrow of democratically elected Yanukovych. Covered by Western media as a people's revolution, it was in fact a coup d'état scripted and staged by nationalist groups and the U.S. State Department. Investigative journalist Robert Parry reveals how U.S.-funded political NGOs and media companies have emerged since the 80s replacing the CIA in promoting America's geopolitical agenda abroad.
Description:
UKRAINE ON FIRE, by Igor Lopatonok reveals the historical premises of the ongoing Ukraine crisis, it's current political backstage and it's dangerous potential for the world. The movie delivers it's message on a subconscious level, intervening the narrative with symbolic perception of fire in the nation's history.

India-The Modi Question (E2 of 2)
Contains Upsetting Scenes.
The second episode examines the track record of Narendra Modi’s government following his re-election in 2019. A series of controversial policies – the removal of Kashmir’s special status guaranteed under Article 370 of the Indian constitution and a citizenship law that many said treated Muslims unfairly – has been accompanied by reports of violent attacks on Muslims by Hindus.
Modi and his government reject any suggestion that their policies reflect any prejudice towards Muslims, but these policies have been repeatedly criticised by human rights organisations such as Amnesty International. That organisation has now closed its offices in Delhi following the freezing of its bank accounts in connection with an investigation into financial irregularities, according to the Indian government, a charge rejected by Amnesty.

India-The Modi Question (E1 of 2)
Contains upsetting scenes.
Narendra Modi is the leader of the world’s largest democracy, a man who has been elected twice as India’s prime minister and is widely seen as the most powerful politician of his generation. Seen by the west as an important bulwark against Chinese domination of Asia, he has been courted as a key ally by both the US and the UK.
Yet Narendra Modi’s premiership has been dogged by persistent allegations about the attitude of his government towards India’s Muslim population. This series investigates the truth behind these allegations and examines Modi’s backstory to explore other questions about his politics when it comes to India’s largest religious minority.
This episode tracks Narendra Modi’s first steps into politics, including his association with the right-wing Hindu organisation Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, his rise through the ranks of the Bharatiya Janata Party, and his appointment as chief minister of the state of Gujarat, where his response to a series of riots in 2002 remains a source of controversy.

The Spider's Web: Britain's Second Empire
How Britain transformed from an colonial/imperial power to a financial power.
The Spider's Web: Britain's Second Empire, is a documentary film that shows how Britain transformed from a colonial power into a global financial power. At the demise of empire, City of London financial interests created a web of offshore secrecy jurisdictions that captured wealth from across the globe and hid it behind obscure financial structures in a web of offshore islands.
Today, up to half of global offshore wealth may be hidden in British offshore jurisdictions and Britain and its offshore jurisdictions are the largest global players in the world of international finance. How did this come about, and what impact does it have on the world today?
This is what the Spider's Web sets out to investigate. With contributions from leading experts, academics, former insiders and campaigners for social justice, the use of stylized b-roll and archive footage, the Spider's Web reveals how in the world of international finance, corruption and secrecy have prevailed over regulation and transparency, and the UK is right at the heart of this.
Featuring contributions from Nicholas Shaxson, Michael Hudson, John Christensen, Eva Joly and and many others.
