During my recent trip to Panama, I made some loyal friends. I encountered some while visiting people I hadn't seen in years and others while walking in the hot Panamanian sun. Although I had this short story ready to go, I never posted it. I do feel sorry for the Husky; the owner informed me that she had to provide a cooling place for her in the house, as the dog constantly seeks out ice.
