This is an original composition written by my 12 year old son. It’s called Move Away.

Nothing goes together quite like kids and puppies—which is exactly why it’s always so heartwarming to see the two meet up. This video of two children—who clearly never ever thought they’d really get the puppy they’d always dreamed of—actually being surprised with a puppy of their very own, and meeting their new four legged friend for the very first time, is heartwarming and then some. In fact, we haven’t been able to stop smiling like crazy since the first time we saw it (which definitely wasn’t the last time we saw it, by the way—because this is one you’ll for sure want to keep playing). Watching this video takes us back to when we were still young and got our first dog, an unforgettable moment of joy that nothing else can ever quite equal. Even hearing our mom explain how we’d have to take responsibility for walkings, feedings, and so on did little to diminish our enthusiasm. And as we grew up, that tiny pup became our best friend through thick and thin—so part of the pleasure in watching this video is getting to relive that moment, along with all of the adventures and late night snuggle sessions we had with the puppy we adopted all those years ago. Seeing the looks on the faces of these two children as they gently pat their new puppy pal is the kind of thing that should provide a much needed lift in your day, and is a pleasure you definitely don’t want to deny yourself. This is our way of saying that if you haven’t hit the Play button yet, then now would be an excellent time to do so.
