This video uses data gathered from the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter spacecraft to recreate some of the stunning views of the Moon that the Apollo 13 astronauts saw on their perilous journey around the farside in 1970. These visualizations, in 4K resolution, depict many different views of the lunar surface, starting with earthset and sunrise and concluding with the time Apollo 13 reestablished radio contact with Mission Control. Also depicted is the path of the free return trajectory around the Moon, and a continuous view of the Moon throughout that path. All views have been sped up for timing purposes — they are not shown in "real-time." North Korea's leader Kim Jong Un plans to travel to Russia this month to meet President Vladimir Putin, a US official has confirmed. The two leaders will discuss the possibility of North Korea providing Moscow with weapons to support its war in Ukraine, the official said. The exact location of the planned meeting is not clear. The possible meeting comes after the White House said it had new information that arms negotiations between the two countries were "actively advancing".

People were finally able to leave Burning Man festival in Nevada on Monday, after wet conditions eased. Heavy rain had caused a mud bath, with rainfall near the end of last week thought to have been the heaviest since the event began more than 30 years ago. Drone footage shows huge queues of people heading away from the festival.
