So far I have confirmed these brands as 100% American Made: Colourpop Persona Ofra Many brands put Made in the US on their label, but really, they aren't! I am on a quest to find 100% American Made brands becuase I want to support the US economy, jobs, and brands that choose to keep manufacturing/assembly in America. Many other companies are owned by large corporations from other countries, or a lot of their manufacturing/assembly process is done elsewhere because it's cheaper. Many countries have forced/child labor or extremely poor labor laws to the point where their citizens are making pennies on the dollar, can't ask for more rights, or are forced to work. Little by little, I research extensively to find out what brands are solely made in the US. The US Department of Labor has a list of many countries that have known forced/child labor. I hope to inspire others to be more mindful consumers in some way or another.

This is my first update on how much polish I've used. I'm trying to use up all of my polishes because I don't want them to go to waste. I hadn't painted my nails about a year and a half because it comes off quickly. I wash dishes, cook, clean, wash my hands A LOT, and play the guitar, so polish doesn't last long for me. However, this summer I went through my polishes and had to throw many away because they got old. I don't like to waste products, so I am making myself use the polishes I have left. These polishes are also not American made, so if I want polish in the future, I want to solely buy American made polishes.

First update trying to use up 21 products.

Using liquid lipstick as eyeshadow and blush for the first time. Using eyeshadow as eyebrow filler for the first time. I'm trying to use what I have in different ways so I don't spend more money on makeup. I already have a lot of eyeshadow and lipstick.

I am on a quest to identify 100% American made products, and I encourage others to be more mindful consumers. As I find US brands, I will share! This is an indie brand based in LA that was started in Dec. 2016 by Sona Gasparian (who is a besuty blogger/YoutTuber/Makeup Artist) and her husband Kasra (who is an engineer). They are a cruelty free, clean brand that offer a variety of products, even brushes made in the US! At the end I clarify what I mean by 100% American made. They are sold at Ulta and on Persona's website. I found a 100% American made company! Even their beauty tools are made in the USA! ALL of their products are also cruelty free! I talk about their origin story, apply two of their eyeshadows, and mention some of their products. They are having a sale on their website 25% off most of their products! If anyone discovers that their products are made somewhere besides the USA, please let me know. I will remove my video. I am not an expert! Thanks!

I am obsessed with beauty products. After this year, I decided I only want to buy American products whenever possible from now on. This is my introduction on why I want to buy American products. I will feature American beauty brands because I know a lot about cosmetics.
