The federal government was designed to serve the needs and protect the rights of the individual states. And in turn the states existed to serve the needs and protect the individual rights of it's citizens. That status quo has been flipped upside down and is currently being stomped into the ground by the bloated and corrupt bureaucracy in Washington D.C. They have become the tyrannical rulers our Republic was designed to prevent.
