The incident occurred on Friday evening on April 26th during a tornado outbreak, which had spawned numerous tornadoes, inflicted significant damage to multiple homes and structures, and tragically resulted in three fatalities.

Paramotor crash
Anthony Vella, 33, suffered a broken neck, back, and pelvis and a shattered right arm when his paramotor flipped over and plummeted into the desert at 48mph. Vella, was testing a BGD Luna 3 in the Enchanted Rock State Park, northwest of Austin, when it suddenly collapsed 85 to 100ft in the air. He is still in serious condition and has been through 4 surgeries so far. 3 angles and then just pure pain.

On April 3rd, a king cobra sought refuge in a storm drain in Perlis, Malaysia, to escape the heat. Members of the Perlis Civil Defence Force captured the snake by hand at the Perlis Port National Youth Technical Institute.
The snake, initially hiding in the drain, was pulled out by its tail, and then its head was dragged out. It tried to attack the officers several times but was eventually subdued when one of the officers firmly grasped its neck.

The original pier was build in 1888
The city of Oceanside spent $5.5 million last year to upgrade the 1,954 foot long pier by replacing old pipes and electrical systems.
