Nicolae Miu has been found guilty in his Apple River stabbing trial.
After seven days of testimony and more than 40 witnesses, a jury found Miu, 54, guilty in his trial, which began on April 1.
Miu was initially charged with first-degree intentional homicide and multiple counts of attempted first-degree intentional homicide.
He was convicted of the following charges:

Cohee's mother had called the police after finding a severed head in her son's closet.
That wasn't all she found. Cohee's mother found bags containing more body parts belonging to 69-year-old homeless man Warren Barnes.
When Cohee was confronted by police, he bluntly admitted to the murder.
The murderer said he was hunting for a homeless person in his car. When he saw Barnes, he grabbed a knife and stabbed him in the neck.
"He was panicking at first in, he was saying what are you doing, what are you doing why, why, and I just kept on stabbing his neck."
Cohee even laughed during the investigation while remembering how he dismembered Barnes' body.
Cohee was sentenced to life in prison.

Another fatal shooting in Houston
HPD have released video footage from a fatal OIS that took place on March 3rd in the 14400 block of Alrover Street. The suspect was armed and threatening to shoot at police.
According to HPD, the incident began with a call reporting a robbery in progress at a convenience store located in the 3300 block of Fuqua Street. The suspect, armed with a pistol, reportedly threatened multiple customers in the store before leaving with a bottle of wine.
Police say upon arriving at the location, officers found the suspect seated on a bench, holding a firearm. Despite attempts to persuade him to drop the weapon, the suspect refused and instead advanced toward the officers, raising the firearm in their direction.
In response, the officers discharged their weapons, striking the suspect. Emergency medical services were called to the scene, but the suspect was pronounced dead upon their arrival.

On March 27, around 11:30, a serious accident occurred in the center of Kursk involving public transport and private cars.
According to preliminary information, the brakes of a 2011 LIAZ-5262 bus failed. This happened when the transport was descending to the Central Market along Dzerzhinsky Street, on a steep slope.
As a result, the bus flew at full speed into a private vehicle and another Volgabus bus on the road. There was a fire. Due to the collision, UAZ and Lada Largus cars caught fire. According to the region's Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire was quickly extinguished.
