DEI: Where to Draw The Line
Even after I recorded this, we saw Mad Max Furiosa tank at the box office and X-Men 97 get dismally low views.

When Should You Self-Censor
Yes, the new cover art is by a different artist. The previous artist raised her price to about $2,000 USD, and that just wasn't reasonable. This new cover artist is George Patsouras.
Also, if anyone has any ideas on how to fix bugs in New Vegas, I'm all ears. That game is way too good for demonstrating good writing.

What Makes Something Canon?
I mixed up the gangsters in this video. Skinny Malone is the one you save Nick Valentine from, Eddie Winter was the first ghoul.
Stabby McGee went on to become a proud member of the NCR and is currently running for public office.

Why Most Writers Hate Economics
Going to have to talk about Fallout next time.
Also, notice how I keep bringing up "Western" writers? I forgot to mention in the video that a lot of what I say here doesn't apply to other cultures.

Damsel is Deeper (and Darker) than You Think
Yes, this movie is bad. But it's surprising how much can be hidden in a B-movie on Netflix.

Anti-Animation Bias
Yes, I know. I didn't talk much about how we got to this point where animation is viewed with such a negative connotation. But let's be honest, you care more about how to fix it than how we got here, don't you?

You Can't "Just Write Good Characters"
I started making this video before the Netflix adaptation of Avatar came out, and I'll have to talk about that next time. The live-action series just further proves that the original cartoon leaned into the characters' identities, particularly the femininity of Katara and Toph.

The Future of Afrofuturism?

Okay, yes, my novel is about finding a job in a world where you can get a degree in wizardry, but for all you creatives in the real world? Show this video to your family members who won't stop nagging at you to quit your art career.

Who, or what, is the King in Yellow?
The King in Yellow today seems to be wrapped in a lot of mystery and tentacles, but he wasn't always like this. And after examining the original book and the world events at the time it was published, I think we can get a clear idea of what Robert W. Chambers intended by this character.

Why You Don't Remember Columbia
Yes, I did mostly just make a video out of an old article on my blog. But if it wasn't relevant, I wouldn't bother.

Why are the Jewish and Christian Versions of Satan so Different?
I am aware that there are other channels that might explain the differences between the two versions of Satan, but they don't usually go into details as to why they ended up like this.

A Christian Looks Back at God's Not Dead
It's been almost 9 years since this film came out, and with the release of "Nefarious," I see Christians try to advertise the new movie by saying things like "it was made by the same people who made 'God's not Dead.'" As if that was supposed to be a good thing.
I really hate this film.
Sorry about the audio quality in this video. I'm trying to get better at that.

Religion is a surprisingly fertile ground for science fiction themes, including ones I don't see explored much in stories written today.
