One of my first thoughts was "I like Mountain House!" I have used their food for backpacking almost 45 years and we even kept some in our travel trailer, for just in case. Freeze dried food will stay fresh for many years and be ready and waiting when you need it. (We have the medium size machine that we got in August of 2017) We talk about how to load and unload the freeze dryer, how to know if the food is dry, is it better to freeze dry raw food or cooked food, and do a few taste tests. Leaving oxygen in the containers with your food is not a good plan. Vacuum sealing jars leaves some oxygen in the jars. Not near as much as I thought, but still too much! Four and a half years after fixing the speed sensor, the machine suddenly developed a clicking sound. This is me trying to find where the sound was coming from. It took me a while to figure it out. Starting 51:00 I show again the fixing of the sensor from the older video. - The speed/distance sensor on our new-to-us (used) Schwinn Journey 4.5, 470 Elliptical was not working correctly. The display showed a distance that was way off; it would show maybe 1/5 of the real distance. It turns out that the sensor seems to work fine but it was more than 1/2" away from the magnet; it's supposed to be about 1/8". Want to support this channel?
