The first layer went down brilliantly. I started inside due to the wild weather conditions. I'm excited to take this piece outdoors for the next layer.

Thank you, sun. You made this session magical. I'm loving where we are at. There's so many more layers inbound. Plentiful layering is so important to capture character and history in a landscape.

Tucked under a veranda today with the sun just managing to sneak under our shelter, we're nearing a place where we start to see the end result shining through. I'm loving it already, but we're not there just yet.

What happens when a faded fridge magnet collides headlong with a wild artist? Hopefully, if it's art, we get mixed reviews. I adore this piece. It's a blend of a 'Harry Potter Patronus charm' and the 'Canadian wilderness through a kaleidoscope.' Where do we go from here? Further. Deeper. Wilder.
