Heartwarming Wrestling Match Between Gorilla Youngster And Grandma
A hilarious footage has emerged of a young gorilla teasing an elderly member of his tribe, engaging in play mode at their enclosure at the zoo. Lope the gorilla youngster is full of energy, but he never really had a lot of contact with his grandma Bidi before. However, today was different because both were full of energy and in a mood for a wrestling match. What a priceless interaction they share!
Meet Lope, the cheeky gorilla youngster from the Twycross Zoo in England who often displays his silly antics, much for onlookers’ amusement. Look at him having a go at his grandmother. Watch as the <a href="https://rumble.com/v3c4ks-gorilla-mother-and-her-baby-backpack.html" target="_blank">cheeky gorilla youngester</a> teases with his elderly grandmother Bidi, trying to pick a fight while playing and messing around with her! What a little rascal!
He's getting close to her, but at first it seems like she is not in the mood for games, and pushes Lope out of her way. However, Lope doesn't seem to be that bothered by her action and continues to give her smack attacks while running around their enclosure!
Lope is becoming quite the lovable rogue with his human teenager like attitude. His favorite moves include strut like a human through his enclose, his little commando rolls, swinging his arms and jumping in the air. Check out this <a href="https://rumble.com/v3xedf-the-chase-is-on-for-gorilla-youngster-lope.html" target="_blank">playful gorilla</a> at the Twycross Zoo in England go full play mode on his grandmother. It almost looks as if these fun-loving apes are putting a show on for all the spectators at the zoo!
Isn't this video just hilarious? Animals have many human-like characteristics about themselves which is highlighted in this video right here. Lope is a 4-year-old western lowland gorilla, a species that is labeled as critical on the IUCN list. He is the the second child of 22-year-old mother Ozala and 24-year-old dad Oumbi.
The 4-year-old rascal can be seen running around their enclosure in Twycross, just like a human baby would, teasing his grandmother, engaging in play mode. It is an important aspect of a gorilla youngers’ behavior, but he needs to learn about the hierarchy in the troop.
These rare primates are usually found in dense rainforests and swamps in Central Africa, but their populations in the wild have declined by more than 60% in the past two decades. Western lowland gorillas have been pushed to the brink of extinction by humans clearing their forests for timber, oil and gas, as well as poaching the animals for bushmeat and the illegal pet trade.

The original bonobo ape Monki Flip video
The weather is finally getting better as it is warming up and the animals at the zoo are getting lively. Take a glimpse at this Bonobo ape for instance and how he is showing his cheerfulness by his acrobatics around the enclosure.
First, he happily rolls around and stretches and scratches in the sun, taking short breaks before the real flip. When he gets a bit boring, he decides to roll up to a wooden pole in the ground. With four continuous back-flips, off he climbs on the wooden pole that has a tire around at the bottom. Having climbed on top of it, with one scratch on his back as a prelude to the upcoming unbelievable maneuver, he executes a perfect 360 back-flip.
Apparently, the monkey is totally unaware of his breath-taking back-flip as he nonchalantly drops on the ground lying idly on the grass. Since his acrobatic movement leaves us awe-stricken, it is repeated in a slow motion manner in order for us to take another glimpse at the <a href="https://rumble.com/v3dma9-monkey-pulls-funny-faces-for-camera.html" target="_blank">monkey’s</a> amazing flip. As we can see, animals can do back-flips even better than us, humans. And wild animals like monkeys are not actually trained to do these back-flips.
Bonobo doesn’t wait to catch his breath and he goes on doing a few more back-flips in the air, rolling in circles on the grass and getting all covered with it. This monkey is incredibly agile and the video is filled with his marvelous <a href="https://rumble.com/v4rjdn-wild-monkey-jumps-on-womans-back-looking-for-sweet-treats.html" target="_blank">jumping</a> actions. It is always fun to watch animal’s movements and their crazy acrobatic skills.

Amazing Journey To The Waterfall Slap Kozjak
An amazing journey towards the waterfall called Slap Kozjak, Kobarid, Slovenia . The first view is of the Napoleon's Bridge with its slim banks of the emerald river Soča also called or Isonzo. The bridge is a part of the architectural heritage. In 1616 the wooden version of this bridge got demolished and rebuilt with stone in 1750. High above the bridge, the 2,244 metres Mountain called Krn part of the Julian Alps in Slovenia. Next up the Kozjak suspension Foot Bridge and views of the Krn mountain. On the way to the main waterfall, there are many beautiful smaller falls like the Mali Kozjak. When you get to the lavish green Soča River Gorge, the narrow valley with steep and rocky walls you’re in awe of the beauty. The turquois water of the Soca river running through the valley. A river that is 138 kilometre long and runs through western Slovenia and northern Italy. Prepare to get some wet feet, especially in March when the water is higher than usual, but with less people makes this a much better time of the year as it is more of a peaceful place. At one point you might not want to continue when you see the narrow footpath on the rock face as you have to hold on to a steel cable to continue, but it’s all worth it. You can hear the thundering water from the fall, one of the most spectacular surroundings and when you get around the last corner you’ll see the wonderful, majestic 15 metres high Slap Kozjak, hidden away in an almost cave like setting. Be prepared to be amazed!

This Baby Gorilla Has A Real Knack For Rolling
Open 364 days a year, Twycross Zoo is set amongst the beautiful rural countryside in the heart of England. Right on the Leicestershire / Warwickshire border, Twycross Zoo is an award-winning conservation charity and fun for all the family.
You can explore the animal world any time of the year, with indoor and outdoor enclosures, interactive experiences and fun, exciting encounter with over five hundred animals, from over hundred different species. <a href="https://rumble.com/v31tdg-rare-newborn-baby-gorilla-in-moms-arms.html" target="_blank">The zoo</a> has the largest collection of monkeys and apes in the Western World, and it is also called ‘The World Primate Center’.
The weather has been cold and windy and the gorillas from the Twycross Zoo in England prefer to spend their days inside, even though they've got the option to go outside at any time they want. Why walk when you can roll? Shufai is definitely on a roll! Watch him having some fun rolling through his enclosure. He doesn't seem to want to stop. One roll after another, covering himself in the wood shavings. He is a ground-dweller and has a peculiar way of walking. Since walking for this gorilla is overrated, and jumping and hanging on trees is just boring, he decides to show his other apparently more adventurous side of throwing himself to the ground into an oblivious spin. Shufai will leave his four-footed walk called chuckle-walking for later, when he is not recorded on camera. His average travel takes about 0.3 to 0.6 miles per day but <a href="https://rumble.com/v31hcl-baby-gorilla-annoys-mum.html" target="_blank">this baby gorilla</a> will certainly make more by tossing around the cage.
Thanks to his large muscles and arm strength for bending, this marathon-rolling gorilla is so funny to watch!

Youngster Gorilla Has The Funniest Human Walk
You've might have seen the silverback Gorilla Louis, an 18-year-old male western lowland gorilla that has been in the news for walking upright at the Philadelphia Zoo. Well, this is nothing new for Lope the gorilla youngster from Twycross zoo in England. You have seen him walk like human many times on this channel, but he manages to make it more hilarious every time. He makes everybody laugh with his swagger. The <a href="https://rumble.com/v4g3yj-10-coolest-animal-self-defense-mechanisms.html" target="_blank">coolest</a> kid on the block.
The 5-year-old managed to get a big salad during feeding time and walks upright to his favorite spot to sit down and have a few bites. When he had enough, he gets back on his two feet. With his salad still in his mouth, he starts beating his chest, brimming with self-confidence. He moves on with his chest poking out walking down the slope and even walking back up again on his two feet like a human!
It doesn’t stop there he does a full round, yes, still on two feet and the best bit is at the end seeing him from his behind waddling towards the entrance of his inside enclosure. Lope is one of two sons of Ozala and dad Oumbi.
The <a href="https://rumble.com/v3y7hh-baby-gorilla-gets-kicked-by-dad.html" target="_blank">gorilla</a> family at Twycross consists of 6 members. Oumbi the big male silverback, Ozala the mum of Lope and Shufai. Grandma Bidi and Asante. In 2009 Oumbi joined Twycross zoo to mate with the females. Ozala was Oumbi chosen mate.Lope - was born on the morning of 3 January 2013. Shufai was born on the 24th of September 2016.

Amazing Winter Wonderland Time Lapsed Walk To Pericnik Waterfall
This is a beautiful wintry time lapsed walk, navigating up the steep footpath through the deep, crisp, unspoiled snow to reach the Slovenian waterfall Slap Peričnik. This winter wonderland proves a little challenging at times, but well worth the reward of the thunderous fall and fabulous falling icicles.
Slap Peričnik is a two-stepped waterfall within the glacial Vrata Valley, Triglav National Park, Slovenia. In winter months both waterfalls freeze completely and the water droplets sprayed against the rock face form incredible, glacier blue stalactites and stalagmites.
The Lower fall (Spodnji Peričnik) is a 52 meter single drop waterfall which culminates in a crashing beat against the rocks below (known locally as “prati”). The most easily seen of the two waterfalls, it can easily be viewed from the roadside. Without the wintery conditions, this usually 10-15 minute trek up a relatively safe trail will bring you out in front of the fall. Once there you can normally walk freely behind the powerful water flow although, probably less advisable after snowfall and during the melt when icicles begin falling.
The Upper fall (Zgornji Peričnik) is significantly smaller at 16 meters high and can be reached via a slightly tougher trail leading from the lower fall.

Amazing New Born Baby In Time For British Mothers Day
It's the British Mothers day this Sunday and the there is a new born baby at the Twycross Zoo in England! What a sight. A silvery Marmoset, a new world monkey with predominantly white fur and a dark tail become a new mum and the baby is just so damn cute. I guess it can't be much older than a few days old. It clinging on to mums back and even when another Marmoset jumps over her and steps on the new born baby or when mum scratches herself and causes a lot of vibration the little one is holding on. With A close up look on the baby you can just see that little heart beating up and down. Just wait until you see the infant yawn! It must be one of the cutest yawns that you will ever see. Mum is also very protective, when another monkey tries to have a good sniff of the baby, mum quickly turns around and smacks the other silvery Marmoset.
The marmosets reach a size of 18 to 28 cm and only weight about 300g. They are very nosy animals and investigate everything new. The diet of the Silvery Marmosets predominantly consists of tree sap.
Interesting fact: When something threatens them Silvery marmosets wiggle their eyebrows and smack their lips together to scare it away.

Swan Acts As Icebreaker For Ducks To Swim Through Frozen Lake
A heartwarming video has emerged of a swan using its body to break the ice and swim through a frozen lake. A group of ducks is seen following swan’s lead, as he struggles to break the ice by paddling through the frozen lake, making a swimming path!
These ducks receive some unexpected help from a generous swan as it helps break up the ice for them to swim. Teamwork makes the dream work! Footage shows a <a href="https://rumble.com/v32tj8-ducks-and-river-una.html" target="_blank">group of ducks</a> following swan’s lead as he breaks the ice in front of him, while paddling through a frozen lake. Amazing!
The filmmaker noticed a brave swan paddling through a slight break in the ice of a frozen lake, struggling to make a path for ducks to swim. He watched as the swan and ducks moved mesmerizingly through the unfrozen water! Incredible!
This ice-cool swan was captured on camera smashing his way through a <a href="https://rumble.com/v49gvl-feeding-ducks-on-a-frozen-lake.html" target="_blank">frozen lake</a>. The graceful bird moves so tenaciously through the cold water and breaks the ice like he is a cutting knife trying to slice a piece of cake!
This is a short video of a tenacious swan doing his best to break the ice in front of him and lead a group of ducks through an icy lake. Apparently ducks used this swan to be their personal icebreaker and he didn’t mind lending a helping hand! He is their hero, and he is our hero too!

Fresh Snow Was The Perfect Refreshment For These Gorillas
Way back when we were younger, we loved eating the fresh snow. It looked exactly like the snow cones our parents used to get us at fairs in the summer, only snow was tasteless (unless you count the occasional spect of dirt that came along with it). Also, “don’t eat the yellow snow” became a staple throughout our adult lives, although we probably had no idea what it meant back then.
When snow fell in Twycross, Leicestershire, England these past week, the Silverback gorillas went out to have their own taste of the white stuff. Just like any human would, they would gather up the snow in ball and munch on it. Mmm, refreshing!
The Gorilla Family from the Twycross Zoo in England woke up this morning to freezing weather and some snow. Even though the family doesn't like to stay outside in the cold, they do love to eat <a href="https://rumble.com/v49ncp-pure-happiness-combined-with-great-athleticism-and-agility.html" target="_blank">snowballs</a>!
Oumbi the big <a href="https://rumble.com/v3tvsr-big-silverback-gorilla-lets-everyone-know-whos-the-boss.html" target="_blank">Silverback gorilla</a> was the first to go outside to get himself some white stuff. He did his tightrope walk to the other side of the platform where he gathered the fresh snow together and ended up with a huge chunk of snow on his hand. He was joined by his older son Lope, who took advantage of his dad no looking to grab a huge chunk of snow from the roof and brought it inside with him to nibble on the frozen refreshment!
In the end, we are all kids on the inside!

Clever Orangutan Youngster Build Its Own Hammock
An incredible footage has emerged of a clever Sumatran orangutan youngster building itself a hammock high in the trees in Chester Zoo in England. Footage shows as the youngster is wrapping the sack around him and trying to attach it to the tree. When he is finally getting it to stay attached to the tree he starts seesawing and rocking around. Adorable!
This orangutan youngster wasn’t too impressed in sleeping on tree branches, so he decided to make himself a hammock and rock himself to sleep. How genius!
Despite being cooped up in England's Chester Zoo, this primate didn’t let the captivity to change his creativity! He somehow got to the idea to <a href="https://rumble.com/v3do39-crafty-orangutan-builds-his-own-hammock.html" target="_blank">build himself a hammock</a> high in the trees, in order to escape the crowds and enjoy some alone time. Watch as he expertly ties the ends of the blanket around the tree branch, leaving just enough slack to create a comfortable hammock.
In the wild, orangutans sleep among the tree tops and make their nests using foliage folded carefully together. Nest building has an important social function among orangutans, as knowledge of how to construct them is passed down from mother to baby. It takes an orangutan until the age of three to be able to construct its own nest, which is a sign that it is ready to leave their mothers.
With jute sack in its hand, the <a href="https://rumble.com/v30310-genius-orangutan-builds-a-cozy-hammock.html" target="_blank">orangutan</a> climbed the tree high enough to effectively separate himself from the zoo patrons below. His master plan was up and running, so he took his sack and found the perfect branch to mount his hammock. After some fails and trial errors, this craftsy youngster completed his mission and is probably resting in his nest as speak.

When These Cute Otters Get Hungry, Their Reaction Is Priceless
These are the adorable small clawed otters from the Birmingham Wildlife Park in England. When it's food time, they try to pass the time by playing with stones. Watch what happens when a keeper walks past with some food. The reaction is just priceless, jumping up and down the glass in anticipation!
Otters are often observed playing and juggling with stones and pebbles, both in the wild and in ZOOs. There are several videos of their unique <a href="https://rumble.com/viral/v1199524-cute-otter-juggles-stone.html" target="_blank">juggling</a> technique that you can watch online. These adorable expert swimmers have been seen juggling one, two, even three rocks at the same time!
Yet the question as to why they do it, its purpose and gain from it remains unanswered. A theory goes around that it has something to do with their eating behavior, since <a href="https://rumble.com/v31hr1-otterly-amazing-otter-with-great-ball-control.html" target="_blank">otters</a> can also often be seen using rocks to smash shells so that they reveal the delicious meat inside. There also have been instances of otters defending their ‘tools’ from other otters.
Asian small-clawed otters are the smallest extant otter species. They range in coastal regions from southern India to Southeast Asia including the islands of Sumatra, Java, Borneo and Palawan.
Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park is home to a unique collection of animals from across the world, including Red Pandas, lemurs, reptiles, meerkats, otters, birds, wallabies and a large collection of monkeys.
