Ep 74 First year teaching is rough School Choice and the Future of Schools
First year teaching at university was time intensive, but middle school teaching is insanely time consuming. With 6+ preps per night, I am going to a "when I have time" format.
I touch on the issue of choice when it comes to certain sensitive issues...
School choice is the future, especially sense the public school system in big cities are failing.

Ep 73 Socrates level Integrity Apology Crito
Taking a look at integrity as illustrated by the Apology and the dialogue of Crito. Recall that the dialogues are recorded by Plato, Socrates' student. One possible lesson to be learned is Integrity. To be consistent to a moral principle is very difficult and will often require sacrifice. Socrates shows us that integrity can cost a person their life.
Is the principle you have as your life-guide so good that you would be willing to sacrifice your life to maintain it? Perhaps you might want to rethink your life principle, then.

Ep 71 Someone once mis-Race-d me… but I survived
It's Race Monday and I'm discussing "mis-racing". Yes, it is a spin on the mis-gendering of people. People today will have you believe that mis-racing others is a horrible crime. But is it? Through a couple of personal anecdotes, I try to make the case that mis-racializing people is simply another source of information on our personal identity.

Ep 72 The Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity 2023 DC
"Which way America?" was the theme this year for the RPI conference. Because of the corruption in DC, the nation is in a watershed moment. The perpetual war is unsustainable, but many are still under the thrall of gov't propaganda.
I just share some thoughts and how it aligns with the agenda of this podcast. I am definitely looking forward to next year... hopefully, I will have more people with me when I do.

Ep 64 Americans are the Battered Spouse of their Government
Check out the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperty one day conference, Sept 2 2023.
This episode explains what a battered spouse/woman is and how Americans are basically the battered spouse of their government.
How to treat and escape this toxic relationship? I guess that depends on your "Out of the Box" skills. I share what I'm doing, but I'm sure you can do better.

Ep 65 Election Debates in America and BRICS vs Dollar Privilege
BRICS is trying to be the rival system to the US Dollar. While this is necessary and good, in the long run, if it is successful, it will lead to a lot of pain in the US and dollar privilege.
The presidential debates have started, and they are more entertainment than anything else. It is campaigning with platitudes, cliche, and soundbites. Why are we still doing things this way? It just becomes a different version of Fake Wrestling Entertainment.

Ep 67 Conspiracy Theory – A subjective perspective
Are Conspiracy Theories the domain of the tin foil hat? Or is there anything redeemable about them? Putting aside all subjective bias, this episode examines what these theories are and then explains why they persist. There are people who benefit from these theories but not just those who spread them.

Ep 61 All Humor is Racist – That is a good thing
All humor arises when the expected does not take place. But expectation comes from our generalizations we use to make decisions. These generalizations are racializations and thus, all comedy relies on knowing stereotypes, and yes, they are all racist.
So, how is this a good thing? Interestingly, there are benefits to having a healthy culture of comedy no matter how many people are offended.

This episode we do a brief survey of articles written on the topic and discuss. The argument is that voluntary self-segregation is a NON-issue, so what's really going on?

Ep 62 Star Trek TOS Patterns of Force - Life imitating Art
Check out the Ron Paul Institute's Conference in DC September 2nd!! Link below for Tickets.
This episode examines an old Star Trek episode; the topic was inspired by Brandon walking off the stage without taking questions, again.
There are often symbols which are seen to signal who are the bad actors/players in various situations. However, when the symbols are not visible, then one should look for the pattern. Failing that, one should look at the results.
Once again, Freedom for the win and I get to talk about Star Trek.

Ep 63 The Expert-Game Exposed by Socrates
Don't forget the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity on Sept 2nd 2023.
Socrates who lived 2400 years ago discredited many experts of his day. He exposed them to be people with narrow subjectivities. For this he was hated so much that he was sentenced to death by a weaponized justice system.
What makes an expert and expert? It is mostly personal preference. Officially recognized expertise should always exist in a world of competing expertise. Misinformation is a dangerous concept to enforce.
Freedom for the win, once again.

Ep 60 Machiavelli Ends justify the means – One problem of virtue signaling
Machiavelli seems to advocate the idea of "The Ends Justify the Means." But what does that mean and is it a good principle for life? Well, because it is a form of virtue signaling, probably not. If individuals are engaged in virtue signaling, then we don't really need to be concerned about what they are doing. But when a government engages in virtue signaling, then we have global problems not solutions.
I think the world can do with a lot less virtue signaling and more freedom.

Ep 59 The Problem of Projection – Costly hypocrisy – End the Fed
Projection is a concept from Sigmund Freud. But it seems to be a variety of Hypocrisy. Hypocrisy is the root of of all injustice. It's bad but many people seem to be doing it today. We can see it in the weaponization of the Justice system, foreign policy, domestic policy, ANTIFA, and much more.
The conclusion is that we must End the FED. Listen to see how we get there.

Ep 58 – Vivek Ramaswamy – RFK jr – Javier Milei
Every election is a kind of advanced auction on stolen goods. - H.L. Mencken said that.
It's always election season in the US. But recently there are some interesting characters to discuss. I call these the thinking intelligent candidates. And their goal is to return freedom to the people, at least that's what they are saying right now.
Why do people like candidates with the big promises and platitudes? Perhaps this is the beginning of a trend away from empty promises back to individual freedom with responsibility.
