Here I am just narrating about removing the engine without using a 2 post lift. The car is a 07 Ford Focus with 2.0 Duratec Engine with 135k Miles. The replacement junk yard engine is from a 06 Ford Focus with 137k miles. To do this really wasn't that bad to do. This is a 07 Ford Focus with 135K miles. The Engine is the 2.0 DOHC Duratec. This Rod bearing failure happened because of me running the engine extremely low on oil (probably only had a quart or less in the pan). The idiot light on the dash never came on and I am not totally sure if it even works. Any way you look at it, it is my fault. I just do not feel comfortable to attempt the fab work nor do I have the necessary tools to perform the work. It make more sense to pay someone who has the skills I lack. This is about doing a leak down test on a ford 4.0 OHV for the problems I had of using coolant and fouling out number 3 spark plug. Here is the full Story: When I bought the truck I immediately did a tune up with new plugs and wires but a few weeks later it starts to miss on start up then was missing all the time and diagnosed it to find a fouled out plug so changed it but few weeks later it did the same thing again so changed the plug again but made the spark plug gape 10 thousands of an inch smaller out of spec compared to the rest of the cylinders and that put a band-aid on the problem. Now months later I started noticing it loosing more coolant then it should so reading on the internet got me an idea on what the problem is so this video is whats followed.
