Once a person gets a software engineering internship, the next question is how to actually transition that software engineering internship into a full-time software engineer position. In this video, I discussed some of the qualities which I observed within my internship and discuss what I think allowed the company to feel comfortable in extending a full-time software engineering position to me after my software engineering internship.

One of the big problems that I am facing right now is that I do not feel that I can focus very well on the things which I need to get done. I'm constantly daydreaming about different things, scrolling on my phone, and feel sluggish and if I was in a daze. I've been trying to figure out how I might be able to go about solving this problem and I think one of the most efficient ways that I can do this is by doing a dopamine detox. So in this video, I talk about what the problem is, my plan for performing the dopamine detox, and then in later videos, I will talk about my results from the dopamine detox.

I realized that technical hard skills are not the only thing that is important within software engineering. Many of those soft skills are extremely important.

In this video, I discussed how I am planning to allocate my software engineering paychecks. I want a method that I am able to mitigate risks as quickly as possible, but also allow me to have a enjoyable and happy life.

I try to reflect on the aspects of my job hunt, which I think most positively affected my ability to find a company that was willing to extend an offer to me as a software engineering intern. I think I made a lot of mistakes at the initial stages of my job hunt, and I think those mistakes held me back getting a software engineering job more quickly.

I am extremely excited to announce that I am finally starting my journey and adventure into the field of machine learning. I am a senior in the electrical engineering program at Oregon State University, and have finally gotten all of my required courses out of the way, which means that I am not qualified to start taking courses which align with my interests. I am really interested in the subject and am very excited to see what the subject holds.
