David Beckman is a man born with Down syndrome. He was born in 1966 and it was common at that time to institutionalize those born with this disability. The film follows him through his years growing up in rural Minnesota with a loving family. David became a charming and funny adult who lights up a room wherever he goes. He is a great representative of what those with Down syndrome can achieve!
