Did you know that doctors themselves say they are:
😳 unsure what advice to give patients (regarding weight loss)
😳 lack knowledge about the best ways to lose weight
😳 and don't feel the advice they give will be effective! ...meaning, they don't actually think you'll lose the excess fat even if you followed their advice!
One study analyzing actual recordings of real doctors giving real patients advice on losing weight concluded that:
"...clinicians mostly do not provide effective advice, and so even if patients were to follow the advice, they would be unlikely to lose weight."

Why I Choose WALKING Instead of Running for WEIGHT LOSS // Calories, Metabolism, Hunger ++
Surprised to hear that WALKING is better than running for WEIGHT LOSS? You'd obviously burn more calories running, right? Well, not so fast!
Your body wants to conserve energy, so when you exercise, it lowers your basal metabolic rate to make up for some of the calories you burned exercising! (See study mentioned in the video)
And actually, there are several reasons WALKING may be less likely to decrease your basal metabolic rate than running. PLUS, there are other great things about walking that make it better than running if you want to lose weight! Not to mention it's much more enjoyable :)
