Ginger is a 12 +year old very pretty Red Necked Wallaby, Daughter of Mama, older Sister of Scooty and Goggles, mother of about a dozen joeys. Rodger is one of her older surviving sons. Ginger herself with baby in pouch, has not been sighted since April, before the attack on Goggles. The neighborhood dogs are out of control. I am concerned for Ginger and her baby's whereabouts and safety, very happy to see Rodger.

Sometimes it pays to arrive before, or after the crowd. It worked on this day, for this young lad who wouldn't get a look in if Sinatra the Senior male was around! There's also a self-liberated duck or two in the distance at the beginning of the video.

Part 3 of Delphi and James rocking out in the cafe, between the lunch and evening session on an otherwise quiet Wednesday. It's cold outside, but we're starting to warm up..

The customers at Grumpy's Rock Cafe have finished their lunch and the kitchen staff have gone home to refresh before the evening session. The stage is already set, so James and I make the most of it with some noise therapy, to blat away the tensions of the day. This is the first time I've Played drums in years! It feels great to hit every one of them as James turns the volume up.

It breaks my heart to say That what was ONCE 💔A Sanctuary for Wildlife and Biodiversity, Conservationists, Builders, Artists Musicians , Children and Healers, this place is NOTHING like it used to be! As the last original community member, who still lives in the pro social spirit on which this place was established, It has been made clear, in no uncertain terms, that I'm no longer SAFE here if I intend to carry on in the spirit of ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION, ALTRUISM, EQUALITY TRANSPARENCY and HONESTY which were the initial inspiration and foundational principles for our once community. Slowly but surely over many years Those who seek to profit at the expense of those less fortunate and the last hyper -biodiversity hotspot in our country, Have used greedy power hungry Machiavellian tactics to the point that I, As someone who tresures my Integrity can no longer participate in, or stay on the "community" on a daily basis. Psychological and Physical wellbeing can no longer be assured here, at least until the Cauldron has been cleaned. 🧿 On this particular day, I came to collect my solar panel and battery as too many things have been smashed or taken whilst I am out in town ☹️ I was SO looking forward to spending time with Scooty and the other Wallabies, the Turkeys, Ducks and Parrots But the neighbours' s poor neglected Sheep with horns growing into their temples, mite outbreaks around the eyes and excrement infested dreadlocks pushed MY wildlife animal Friends out of the way, Stole their treat day food, then urinated profusely everywhere. As they say there goes the neighbourhood!- to people who just don't value care.😭 I won't miss the Bullies Vandals and Thieves but I am devastated not to be able to protect the last unpolluted creek Scooty, the other Animals and the trees indefinitely. I swear I tried, Please forgive me.

Some afternoon, high-volume Sonic Therapy, to blow away the mental debris of day at Grumpy's Rock Cafe.

It doesn't look like the clouds from when I was a kid! Whatever it is , it's not the same as clouds from my childhood.

Sinatra, a mature male Australian Bush Turkey is clever and adaptable. He doesn't mind if people call him a "Soy Boy" if he gets free protein and calories. He's healthy, strong, fast and sings a nice song for the Ladies. Here, he takes a que from my dear friend Wullumbin, the mother of the Turkey Tribe and approaches for a treat.

Talking about life and death, friends we have, and have lost, with Scooty the Senior Red Necked Wallaby. Being a Wallaby comes very naturally to Scooty, It's like he was born that way! Meanwhile, in the background, some Ducks and Bush Turkeys eat oats and listen to our conversation.

I told Wullumbin the Bush Turkey I had a treat for her, so she ran up to the doorstep to meet me. Check out her long toenails.

Whilst whipper snippering the side of the hill below, to keep the weeds down and encourage the juicy soft grass to grow, Scooty watches from a comfy knoll. I stop work and down tools for a few sweet moments, to have this quiet chat with my senior supervisor, Scooty the Red Necked Wallaby.

They're so excited by this unusual treat that they could barely wait for the plastic to be removed and I discovered that Scooty loves cabbage too. I'll have to put it on the regular menu it made them so happy! 😁

After over a week in town,the local animals welcome me home warmly and ask if I have any special treats for them. Multi species afternoon action and lots of joy if you can handle a little shakey cam.

Ginger, the 12 or 13 years old senior sister of Scooty and Goggles ,with young baby in pouch, should have shown up by now. She's well overdue for an appearance, I haven't seen her since maybe early April despite calling her name, to which she responds on many occasions, for hours. Best case scenario, she's with her older daughter Kinky and her baby in the wallaby nursery somewhere safe from predators. Worst case scenario I don't want to contemplate. Ginger is the sweetest I hope that she's okay . I'm glad her younger brothers still have each other for now at least. I wish the Neighbour's dogs would stop killing all my friends :(

Whilst in town,I took a moment in the church grounds to see what wildlife was around and found this Magpie singing. Naturally the show was over by the time I got the camera out as I guess every bird lovers has experienced. 🤣

More bout this later.. A sneak preview into the one little 12-volt battery power pack that makes this operation possible. I can run a small fan, charge the phone, plug in the laptop, lights, bug zapper or stereo all from this little magic black box. Charged by the solar panel most of the year, topped up with peddle power in winter. It's pleasantly affordable and transportable. You don't need much if you are prepared to live simple. This one is years (6??) old although it's needed a few fuse changes and a new cover, it's still going strong. Not Bad For under 2K including maintenance. I recommend this if you are not running a fridge/ toaster /hotplate. For that you need something bigger.

Today on Bird Cam. Sinatra the Bush Turkey jumps on the outdoor table in an attempt to access the sunflower block that the King Parrots are eating. (Spoiler alert) He doesn't succeed in this instance but usually does eventually when the light fades and the others go to bed fifteen minutes before he does.

I was taking my mug of soymilk to add to cold coffee and reheat , when Wullumbin ran up to my feet and looked at me signaling she's ready for a treat.
