Everybody Doubted Me
Starting in high school by selling cannabis, I built my path in the industry despite the naysayers. After college, I became a general contractor while cultivating my passion for cannabis. I pursued licenses and eventually founded Left Coast Holdings, which now includes a 120-acre farm, 49,000 plants, an indoor grow, a processing facility producing multiple brands, and three retail stores in Michigan. The skeptics doubted, but perseverance and belief proved them wrong.

What started as a small hustle became the real deal with hard work and perseverance.

Is Entrepreneurship Really for You?
Entrepreneurship has become glamorous, but it's not for everyone. It's tough, unpredictable, and full of risks. If you're comfortable with a steady paycheck and following directions, entrepreneurship might not be your path. But if you're a self-starter who thrives on risk and uncertainty, then this challenging yet rewarding journey could be your calling.

I wish I knew this about money earlier
Navigating the financial side of entrepreneurship is a challenge many of us face. I remember splurging early on and learning the hard way when things backfired. Entrepreneurs often aren't naturally great with money; we're risk-takers. Reflecting on my journey, I advise young people that they don't need to earn a specific amount to start investing.
A common misconception is that investing requires a high salary, like $100,000 a year. However, data shows that about one-third of millionaires in the U.S. have never earned six figures. Their success lies in being disciplined and consistent with their investments.
Even small amounts invested over time can make a significant impact. The power of compound interest works wonders when you start early, whether you're 18, 19, or 20. The sooner you get into a rhythm of smart investing, the better positioned you'll be for long-term financial stability. Invest small but invest often, and watch your efforts compound over time.

MJBizCon with 40 Tons
I'm thrilled to be at the 40 Tons booth, a powerful initiative we proudly sponsor at Elite Cannabis Operators Mastermind. We're sparking change right from the convention floor with a bold statement—a prison cell display—to highlight the stark hypocrisy in the cannabis industry: while many profit, others remain imprisoned for what’s now legal.
I caught up with Anthony Allegretti, co-founder of 40 Tons, to dive deeper into the mission behind this poignant display. Anthony shared the harsh realities faced by those we advocate for—individuals who spent significant portions of their lives behind bars for cannabis, the very industry flourishing around us. This initiative isn’t just about awareness; it's a call to action, pushing for justice and equality in the cannabis space.
Our discussion also touched on the transformative power of the Elite Cannabis Operators Mastermind. Anthony highlighted how the mastermind serves as a pivotal platform for learning, growth, and community support, helping members navigate the complex cannabis industry landscape. It’s about dismantling barriers, sharing crucial insights, and fostering an environment where every member, regardless of their stage in the business journey, can thrive.
Reflecting on this incredible experience, it's clear that what we're building is more than a network—it's a movement. A movement towards a more equitable and connected cannabis industry. If you're on the fence about joining us, consider this your invitation to be part of something groundbreaking. Together, we're not just growing businesses; we're cultivating a legacy of change and support. Join us as we continue to push boundaries and champion for those who cannot.

Understanding Equal Opportunity vs. Equal Outcome
The debate between equal opportunity and equal outcome highlights fundamental differences in how we perceive success and societal roles. Equal opportunity offers everyone the same starting point, fostering an environment where individuals can thrive based on their efforts and aspirations. Conversely, equal outcome adjusts starting points to balance the finish line, which often leads to mediocrity, as not everyone aspires to high achievements.
Some are content with simpler lives, desiring minimal responsibilities and a straightforward work-life balance that allows them personal freedom and satisfaction. This diversity in ambition and contentment is essential, as society needs a range of roles filled, from the $15-an-hour jobs to multi-million-dollar earners.
Respecting individual desires for their life’s complexity or simplicity is crucial, and no one should dictate another’s aspirations. This respect for personal choice underpins the concept of true equal opportunity without enforcing uniform outcomes.

This knowledge isn't just practical—it's essential. It ensures that you can step in seamlessly should you ever lose a key employee unexpectedly. Beyond just filling in, it's crucial to cultivate a proactive approach by having a backup plan.

Balancing Sports, Education, and Life Lessons with Kids
Life as a parent intertwines with my professional world in surprising ways. My kids, Maven and Max, are not just growing up; they're excelling as young athletes with a keen interest in soccer. Our conversations often revolve around their future, probing deep questions about colleges and potential soccer careers. Recently, they asked where I went to college, leading to a heartfelt discussion about my path.
I shared with them my time at Palm Beach College, a community college, and how I didn't follow the traditional route to graduation. This opened up a chance to talk about the value of different types of education—how street smarts and a strong work ethic often hold as much weight, if not more, than formal education. It’s a blend of knowing how to navigate the world, dedication, and continuous learning that has guided my journey.
These discussions with my sons are precious. They're not just about guiding them academically but also about instilling values that prepare them for all aspects of life, be it on the soccer field, in the classroom, or beyond. As a father, my goal is to support their dreams with real-world insights, encouraging them to build resilience, think critically, and value diverse experiences. These moments of connection are what make the hustle worthwhile, blending lessons from the pitch and boardroom to life’s everyday play.

Leadership's Impact on Company Culture
In the world of business, the culture within a company flows directly from the top. As a leader, your personal demeanor and values set the stage for the entire organization. If you lead with kindness, respect, and genuine appreciation for your team, these qualities will permeate throughout the workplace, creating a positive and supportive culture.
Conversely, negativity or disrespect can foster a toxic environment that hinders cooperation and growth. It's crucial for leaders to reflect on their behavior and its impacts—not just on operations but on the morale and productivity of their team. The culture you cultivate directly influences your company's success and reputation. Be mindful of the power you hold in shaping a healthy, dynamic work environment.

True Reasons to Become an Entrepreneur
Diving into entrepreneurship purely for the financial gains is a common pitfall that many fall into, but it’s a narrow view that often leads to disappointment. Starting a business is inherently risky with a high chance of initial failure or prolonged periods without income—it could be six months, a year, or even three years before seeing a profit.
The real rewards of entrepreneurship lie deeper. It’s about the freedom to make your own decisions, the thrill of creating new opportunities not just for yourself but for others, and building a legacy that lasts beyond your tenure. If you’re considering this path, focus on these broader goals. Entrepreneurship is a marathon, not a sprint, and the most successful founders are those driven by more than just money.
They are motivated by the impact they can make and the freedom they gain in steering their destiny.

Mom’s OnlyFans Ad on SUV
Picture this: a mom with her OnlyFans ad boldly displayed on her Dodge Durango, especially parked at a Christian school—yep, that’s stirring up quite the storm. While some might raise eyebrows at the choice of advertising platform, particularly around kids, there's no denying it's a marketing masterstroke.
This mom's ad isn't just sticking to her car; it's hitting network news and spreading like wildfire online, sparking debates and drawing eyeballs. Controversial? Absolutely. Effective? Undoubtedly. Her OnlyFans subscriptions are probably skyrocketing. It's a classic case of bold marketing—risky, maybe, but undeniably savvy in its execution.

2 Certainties When Starting a Business
When you jump into starting your own business, buckle up for two guarantees: nothing’s gonna go as planned, and it’ll definitely take longer than you expect. If you’re crunching the numbers on how to fund this dream, you’ve got a few choices: dig into your own pockets, team up with a partner, or maybe you’re thinking about a loan.
But here’s a straight shot of advice—skip the debt. Loans mean you’re on the hook, and if things don’t pan out, you’re not just out of a business, you’re drowning in payback. Play it smarter—bootstrap or find a partner who believes in your vision. That’s how you keep your business and your peace of mind intact.

Wife hate you?
Facing a lack of interest from your wife can be a tough pill to swallow, but often, the issue starts with looking in the mirror. If the passion has cooled and she seems distant, it might be time to assess your own contributions to the relationship. Are you active, engaged, and fulfilling your own potential? Or have complacency and neglect crept into your life and relationship?
Being overweight, unmotivated, and disengaged can dim your attractiveness and impact your relationship more than you might think. This is a wake-up call to reevaluate your habits, health, and how you interact in your marriage. Improvement starts with accountability and understanding that reigniting the spark begins with rejuvenating yourself first.

Unlocking Millions in the Trades
Aspiring to make more money and dive into entrepreneurship? It’s crucial to understand where real opportunities lie. While flashy startups get most of the hype, the truth is, the trades offer substantial and often overlooked avenues for success.
Industries like HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and construction don’t just require less capital to start, but they also excel in cash flow and are simpler to scale compared to the heavily regulated fields of finance or tech.
From starting a small operation to scaling up to multi-million dollar enterprises, the trades provide a practical, profitable path for budding entrepreneurs. I’ve built two eight-figure businesses in these sectors, experiencing firsthand their potential for growth and profitability.
If you’re looking to create lasting wealth and a significant business impact, consider starting in the trades—it might just be the smartest move towards building your empire.

Dating Usually Sucks
The shift in how young men approach dating today is noticeable, with many opting for virtual interactions over real-life connections. It's a strange new world where online lives and pornography are taking precedence over traditional dating and intimate relationships. Reflecting on my own experiences starting at 15, dating was not just about romance; it was a crucial part of social development.
It taught us to face rejection, build courage, and hone the interpersonal skills essential for success in life. The art of approaching someone, asking for their number, or simply saying hi in person cultivates a resilience and boldness that is invaluable. The decline of these real-world interactions is more than just a dating dilemma; it represents a broader loss in essential life skills.
Balancing Expectations and Self-care
The expectations placed on men today are immense: be a great provider, father, husband, and man. But remember, you can't meet these demands if you're running on empty. Self-care is crucial; it’s about more than just staying fit or eating right. It’s about nurturing your well-being to keep up with life’s pressures. Exercise, healthy eating, and aligning with men who inspire positive impact are essential steps.
Don't let yourself become worn out and miserable. Recharge, refocus, and remember that taking care of yourself is the first step to fulfilling those roles effectively. Let’s support each other in this journey, ensuring we’re not just surviving, but thriving.

Low Testosterone?
Feeling less than your best, men? Struggling with weight, motivation, or mental health issues? The culprit could be lower than normal testosterone levels, a concern that's been growing over the past three decades. I've faced it myself, grappling with low energy, anxiety, and depression, all linked to low testosterone, worsened by a sedentary lifestyle and poor diet common in today's society. It's a stark reality that our modern habits contribute to decreasing testosterone levels, impacting everything from our physical health to our mental wellbeing.
But there's hope. Simple lifestyle changes, like lifting weights, eating whole foods, and ensuring adequate sleep, can naturally boost your testosterone, enhancing your overall vitality. It's not just about hitting the gym or the numbers on the scale; it's about embracing a healthier, more active lifestyle to reclaim the essence of male vitality. If you're facing these challenges, remember, adjustments to your daily habits can make a significant difference. Stay tuned for more insights on boosting your testosterone and enhancing your life.
