The Daisy Airgun Museum 2
Near the Texas and Arkansas border is a town named Rogers, Arkansas. Hatsan, Umarex, Barra and Daisy all have facilities in that area and so Dr. Paula and I decided to visit Rogers, Arkansas during our last trip to see just what those firms added to the passion found among air gunners. The highlight of this trip was not an air gun manufacturer, but rather an air gun museum. Regardless of the brand you own, you owe it to yourself to see this video and part II that follows it, to really know the roots of air gunning in general. This is the second video on the Daisy Airgun Museum.

Destructive Iguana & Poisonous Cottonmouth with EDgun, Zach's Rainson Edge & Hueben
Zach Matthews joined us on our Iguana Hunt in S.E. Florida, helping Florida with their destructive critter issues with Iguana. They tear up the berms and sides of canals. They also weaken decks that Floridians use along the canals and lakes. In several cases, they have gotten into Florida’s transformer equipment, cutting off electrical power to Floridians, while frying those Iguana’s at the same time. The problem has been so rampant, that Florida has labeled Iguanas as one of those alien species that do not belong in Florida, while providing a bounty and open season 12 months of the year. #rainson #iguanahunt #hueben

Wild Hog Hunt with an AirForce Texan
https://www.aresairgunstactical.com
Drs Russ and Paula join Zach Mathews of Ares in Florida for a wild Hog Hunt at Ron’s Guide Hunts. This year’s Wild Hog Hunt is entirely different than last years which required them to sit on a stand in the middle of a cattle ranch, harvesting alien species that Florida has a bounty on. This is the second video of this Wild Hog Hunt at Ron’s Guide Hunts. This hunt takes place in a forested area of Florida while riding in a side by side by Pedro, who normally guides alligator hunts. In this video, Zach Matthews doubled his hunting success by shooting two wild boars within minutes of each other. Like last year, he used his Airforce Texan in 50 caliber. #wildhog #airforce #airrifles

Preparing You for Air Gun Competition
Dr Russ participated in numerous 9mm, 45 caliber, 12 gauge shotgun and AR-15 competitions after returning from Vietnam, after serving as an Infantry Platoon Leader with the Big Red One. He often fired 1,000 rounds in the week prior to a major competition. Dr. Russ’ participation in these competitions’ oven had some carry over to shooting accurately with air guns.
While all competitions required a secretive and detailed preparation list, Dr. Russ has asked a young man and friend, to join him in this video. A friend named Izzy, who competes regularly in air rifle completions today. Izzy is a key executive of Donnyfl in Florida. He too has a secretive and detailed preparation list when it comes to national and global competitions.
Awards can be as high as $30,000 and prize tables can include some very expensive air guns … along with trophies, medals and even ribbons. Fortunately, Izzy agreed to share his list … along with Dr. Russ’ own list with the viewers of Dr. Russ Air Rifle Adventures. While most viewers won’t enter air gun competitions, Dr. Russ knows that they still compete with themselves, or a few select friends in any scheduled air gun get together. They can also drive home disappointed following a hunt, where that important trophy got away due to poor accuracy. Its far more exciting and rewarding when you know as much as possible about shooting accurately from those who shoot in national and global competitions. That is what this Dr. Russ Air Rifle Adventure video is all about.

Sighting in the Browning/ Umarex / Hatsan 800 Pistol and Review
A neighbor asked that I sight in his Browning 800 Pistol in 22 caliber. While powder gun manufacturers typically don’t make air pistols or rifles, they often place that responsibility with air gun manufacturers, using their expertise and distribution channels. In this case Browning turned the ultimate design of this air gun over to Umarex and Umarex utilized Hatsan’s capabilities. While the Browning 800 is only available in the 177- caliber today, Hatsan continues to make and market a 22-caliber version. This air pistol is not a toy … and uses a break barrel design that does not require CO2 to propel their pellets. Drs Russ and Paula. #browning #umarex #hatsan

Finding 10 New Gamo, Crosman, Daisy & Browning Pistols in Storage Unit
Having friends who purchase the contents of storage units can prove to be valuable, as Drs Russ and Paula discovered. One of their friends purchased a large 10 by 40 foot storage unit which they believed was full of expensive tools, but the previous owner had 3 drawers of a tool bench filled with air pistols, ammo and airgun manuals. Fortunately, they called Russ for an appraisal of the air guns in the storage unit … and in the end, Drs Russ and Paula purchased the lot from them. #gamo #daisy #browning

Keep Your Gamo, Crosman, Hatsan & FX Air Guns Out of The Repair Shop!
Drs. Russ and Paula have spoken to several air gun smiths … and learned why air guns are so difficult to fix and to fix fast … getting your air gun back to you. Gun repairs can often be repaired quickly when parts are available … and often by just filing or lubricating the mechanical parts. But those fast repairs do not exist when lead and dirt particles along with various lubricants fall back down the barrel and into the air compression parts of an air rifle or pistol. Most air gun enthusiasts store their guns with the barrels up … and that is when most lead and dirt particles along with lubricants slide back down and into those compression parts and valves, rendering the air gun inoperative. Drs. Russ and Paula provide some alternative help to prevent this from happening. #gamo #hatsan #crosman
