A water wheel was constructed by a local resident. The wheel works and provides a nice view in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The official title for the stream is on Allison Branch can be seen from Allison Loop In greater Blairsville, Georgia.

West on Ozello Road from US 19 just south of the Crystal River Home Depot lies a boat ramp and some picnic tables. It's a nice spot to just enjoy the view and some of the wild birds that frequent the close bye waters of the Gulf and estuaries that run through the surrounding grasses.

Bird Creek Park is near a boat ramp for Gulf of Mexico access. It is west of Yankee Town, Florida.

Rainbow Springs State park is where the headwaters of the Rainbow River begin. The water is clear and 72 degrees Fahrenheit. The swimming area has several springs entering from below the waters. One is featured toward the end of this video and there is a small turtle just above the spring. There is a swimming area featured and nearby kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing can be enjoyed with personal craft or available rentals.

The remnants of Tropical Storm Fred went through the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia today. Lots of water dumped into rivers and streams. Have a look at the Nottely River and a small tributary called Stink Creek running a little heavier than usual. This is in Union County south of Blairsville.
