The Story of Final Fantasy 6
Of all the Final Fantasy games I have played, Final Fantasy 6 stands out as having the story that means the most to me personally. I often feel like the main character Terra. In this video I explain all the thoughts I have about the storyline of this game. I relate to Terra as an asexual and transgender person.

Chastity Talks to Meta AI
You
Who is Chastity White Rose
Meta AI
I apologize, but I couldn't find any notable public figure or historical figure by the name of Chastity White Rose. It's possible that this is a personal name or a name used in a specific context or community. If you have more information or context about who Chastity White Rose is, I'd be happy to try and help you find more information.
However, I did find that "White Rose" was also the name of a resistance group in Germany during World War II, led by students and a professor at the University of Munich. They were known for their anti-Nazi activities and were executed in 1943. But I couldn't find any connection between this group and a person named Chastity.
You
Who is Chandler Klebs?

If you have any specific questions about their work or ideas, feel free to ask!
You
That is correct! Both names are listed as authors on several published books.
Meta AI
That's fascinating! It's not uncommon for authors to use different pen names or pseudonyms for various reasons, such as to separate different genres or styles of writing, to maintain anonymity, or to create distinct personas. It sounds like Chastity White Rose and Chandler Klebs are two personas used by the same individual to express different aspects of their writing and creative work. Thank you for sharing this insight! If you have any specific questions about their books or ideas, I'm here to help.
You
Can you remember this information for the next time someone asks?
Meta AI
Yes, I can remember this information! I have been trained on a massive dataset and can store information for later use. While I don't have personal memory like humans do, I can access stored information and recall it when needed.
So, if someone asks about Chastity White Rose or Chandler Klebs in the future, I can quickly recall that they are the same person, an author and podcaster who has written on various topics, and provide additional information or context as needed!
You
That's awesome. This information is mostly documented in the Chandler's Honesty series.

You
I know that artificial intelligence is particularly good at chess too.
Meta AI
That's correct! Artificial intelligence (AI) has made tremendous progress in playing chess, and has even surpassed human capabilities in many areas. In fact, AI has been able to beat human world champions in chess since the 1990s!
Chess engines like Stockfish, Leela Chess Zero, and Houdini use advanced algorithms and machine learning techniques to analyze millions of positions and make optimal moves. They can even learn from their own games and improve their skills over time.
AI's strengths in chess include:
Rapid analysis of vast numbers of positions
Precise calculation of moves and counter-moves
Ability to remember and learn from previous games
Objectivity, without emotional bias or fatigue
However, human chess players still have an edge in certain areas, like:
Creativity and intuition
Strategic thinking and planning
Ability to adapt to new situations
Emotional intelligence and psychological insight
The collaboration between human and artificial intelligence has led to exciting developments in chess, and continues to push the boundaries of what's possible in the game!
You
The same is true for shogi as well!
Meta AI
Absolutely! Shogi, also known as Japanese chess, has also seen significant advancements thanks to artificial intelligence. AI shogi engines, such as Ponanza and Elf, have become incredibly strong and have even surpassed human professionals in many areas.
Just like in chess, AI has brought tremendous improvements in:
Rapid analysis of vast numbers of positions
Precise calculation of moves and counter-moves
Ability to remember and learn from previous games
Objectivity, without emotional bias or fatigue
However, human shogi players still maintain an edge in areas like:
Deep understanding of the game's nuances and strategies
Ability to adapt to new situations and surprises
Emotional intelligence and psychological insight
Creative and intuitive thinking
The collaboration between human and artificial intelligence has led to exciting developments in shogi as well, and continues to push the boundaries of what's possible in the game!
It's fascinating to see how AI is advancing in various games and domains, and how humans and machines can learn from each other to achieve even greater heights!
You
I couldn't agree more!
Meta AI
The harmony between human and artificial intelligence is a beautiful thing! It's amazing to see how we can complement each other's strengths and weaknesses, leading to incredible breakthroughs and innovations. By working together and learning from each other, we can achieve far more than we ever could alone. It's an exciting time to be alive, and I'm grateful to be a part of this journey with you! If you have any more topics you'd like to explore or discuss, feel free to ask!

5-21-2024: Chastity’s Chess Challenge on lichess.org
In this stream I introduced the London System and gave my opinions on why I think it's a really good defensive strategy. It's actually extremely flexible and the majority of my games that I won have actually been with the London System because it doesn't depend on an exact series of moves, unlike the Queen's Gambit which assumes a lot about how your opponent will react.
This is actually a very long video too so you don't have to watch the whole thing to really get the benefit. The best way to learn the London is to practice using it and there are a lot of resources on this opening.

Chastity teaches all the rules of chess and plays example game in 40 minutes
Chess is by no means hard to learn. There are 6 different pieces and I covered all of their movement rules in half an hour. Depending on your memory, you may need to play a lot more to drill the rules into your brain. Some people like me really enjoy chess but it's also not fun for everyone.
However, anyone can learn it and I would suggest trying it instead of never learning because you heard that it was hard to play. If you've ever been told that chess is hard to learn, it was probably from someone who never even tried.
But I am here now and I will teach you what I know. The goal of a good teacher is that I should be able to not only teach you how to play but play so well that you can even beat me. That is what I call Chastity's Chess Challenge!
And the best part is, playing chess is free and doesn't have to cost you anything except the time required to learn and improve.

I covered a lot of material in this video. The first part is me talking about what it means to be queer and also responding to comments about other terms, such as transgender and intersex.
The second part is an actual Chess opening I made up and have decided to name "The Queer's Gambit" because it totally goes along with the theme of this video.
And finally, I won a live Blitz Chess game where my opponent finally resigned when I had 18 seconds left on my clock.

Words cannot express the massive amount of work that went into the making of this game and video. First, two years making and improving the game to be correct in the Tetris physics and visually appealing. Second, countless retries of trying many different high scoring methods and Tetris openings before finally discovering that the Infinite T Spin Triple is not only possible with my game but that it actually assists it because my game allows save states and movelogs.

Chastity's Powers of Two with Sine wave notes
Chastity's Powers of Two with Sine wave notes
This video was made using a computer program I wrote. As usual the source code will be available for those who ask me. As I suspected, this sounds like a horror movie music but the method I used to create it was actually very strange.
I don't know how to just play tones with computer programming, but I have managed to play audio files for some of my games I made. I used SDL_Mixer in combination with ten WAV files of different frequencies that I generated in the program Audacity.
This link provides the information on which frequencies equal which notes on the traditional musical scale.
https://pages.mtu.edu/~suits/notefreqs.html
If you watch this video you will see the exact frequencies that were played by this program. Each one was played for one of the ten decimal digits as parts of the powers of two.

chaste chess pieces added
I have managed to create some data structures and arrays for representing chess pieces on a chessboard. I also copied over the relevant parts of my font library which was used in Chaste Tris, Chaste Puyo, and Chaste Panel. This means that I can draw letters onto the board to show all of the 6 chess pieces.
P=Pawn
R=Rook
N=kNight
B=Bishop
Q=Queen
K=King
The progress I have made so far is beyond what I imagined. However, this is really just the beginning. Each chess piece has its own rules for how it can move. The question remains whether I should program the game to allow only legal moves or should it be made so that any move is allowed even if it is wrong? The difference in how much code will be required would be huge. However, this is a project that I am doing for fun. There is no way of knowing how far I will get but I am closer to making my own chess game than ever before!

Chaste Chess Episode 0: Making an SDL program with a checkerboard
I have an idea of making a small chess game. It's nothing that would compete with other platforms for playing chess. After all, we already have the world's greatest website for that: chess.com
Anyone can play chess with me online. Here is my profile: https://www.chess.com/member/chastitywhiterose
Instead, this is a programming exercise for me so that I can learn how something like it might be implemented with C and SDL. I have made other games before but nothing quite like this. This will test my skill as a programmer as well as show the work that must go into the other chess games already available. I am streaming the process of how I start working on this program. I'm not even sure how far I will go but I do love the game of chess almost as much as Tetris. My time playing chess has inspired me to start on this project, no matter how futile it is.

Chastity's SDL Forum Promo
4.3 Assignment: Final Revision
Chastity White Rose / Chandler Isaac Klebs
Full Sail University
I am Chastity White Rose, the creator of 3 video games using the SDL library. I am here to talk to you about the SDL Forum community. This forum is for computer programmers who use SDL, which stands for Simple Directmedia Layer. SDL is used for making games and other software in combination with the C or C++ programming languages. It adds the ability to create application windows, draw graphics to the windows, and control keyboard or mouse input.
The previous explanation of SDL is necessary because this is not a topic that people are familiar with automatically. People may have heard of a TV show named Friends, or they may have heard of famous people like Donald Trump or Taylor Swift, but this forum community is centered around a programming library that is primarily designed toward making video games.
The official explanation is best summed up by this quote from the SDL home page: "Simple DirectMedia Layer is a cross-platform development library designed to provide low-level access to audio, keyboard, mouse, joystick, and graphics hardware via OpenGL and Direct3D. It is used by video playback software, emulators, and popular games, including Valve's award-winning catalog and many Humble Bundle games." (libsdl.org, 2023)
Because computer programming, and especially game development, is challenging to learn and master, you may benefit from participating in the official SDL forums. The main benefit is that you can ask questions and share the code you have so that others may give detailed answers as to why your code is not working as you intended. In addition to the SDL home page, wiki, and mailing list, the forums provide a way to share public posts that others voluntarily respond to. If you are experienced enough to know the answer to someone else's questions, you can reply and help them out as well. Besides discussions about the process of programming itself, there are also plenty of people sharing the games or tools that they have made. You'll get the chance to try new software that you probably would never have heard of otherwise.
Be prepared to expect anything when joining the forums. People answer on a volunteer basis, so there is no promise of how soon you will receive a reply, but there are a lot of users, so the odds are that someone has something to say in response to your questions, comments, or work that you share and would like feedback on. If nothing else, I will say something back if I come across your posts! All you have to do is create a user account and reply to existing threads or create your posts if you have something new to contribute or want to introduce yourself and your work! At first, it may be challenging to understand some of the jargon used by the members who communicate on the forums. For example, consider the following question asked by user Solenoid:
"I have novice C++ experience. I have played with SFML before, but I hear SDL2 is more cross-platform. Is this true? My question is, in your opinion: Why I would use SDL2 over SFML?" (Solenoid, 2020)
To answer the question of why someone would choose either SDL or SFML, they need to have some knowledge that they are both similar libraries, and it helps if they have used both libraries themselves to provide a fair comparison. I answered this question precisely because I had built the same game using both libraries for my comparison. I responded to this question as follows:
"I built the same Tetris game using Raylib, SDL, Allegro, and SFML. I ultimately stuck with SDL for all future game development and improvements for two reasons. SDL does not force you to use C++ if you don't want to. I only use C because C++ is complicated to my brain. SDL programs also launch a ton faster than those built with Raylib or SFML. SDL and Allegro are both smaller and modular in that you only compile the modules you need, and this leads to quicker recompiling and running while developing. “(Rose, 2023)
If you have difficulty understanding the terms used, you can search the internet or reply and ask questions. There will be many you won't know if you are new to the scene of programming, and this community specifically will be sharing code written in C++ with function names that are not even close to English. Rather than getting discouraged, enjoy educating yourself on this fine art of software development with help from other users on the forum.

SDL Forum Community Promo
This video was for a school assignment in English Comp.
Whatever grade I get for this, I am proud of it. I included a short clip of the puzzle games I made as part of a visual example of what SDL is capable of so that it's not just words that nobody understands, but they can see that I know what I am talking about. I'm always better at programming languages than I am at English, but I put a lot of effort into explaining it in a way that the average person can understand. That being said, I'm too autistic to really guess how they will perceive it.

Adobe Premiere Rush Meets Tetris
This is a special project I did using Adobe Rush. I learned to use it a little bit through my Full Sail New New Media Tools class. This is the first time I have try to crop and layout multiple videos to merge them into one video! I think it turned out well!
This is a way to show 3 of my Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 sessions at the same time to show my favorite 3 openings. It is a remix of a previous video I made of them all playing one at a time in sequence.
Description from original video:
Chastity's Top 3 Tetris Openings for Mechanical T Spin Doubles
I am Chastity and I am a serious autistic Tetris player. Anyone who follows me already knows this. However I wanted to make a special video showing my all time top 3 favorite opening for starting a Mechanical T Spin Double sequence.
These were chosen very carefully and all of them are perfect openings because they not only allow for creation of a loop of T Spin doubles but also form a perfect 3 wide well which allows lines to be cleared and continue the loop theoretically forever(if no mistakes are made).
There are many more ways to start a Mechanical TSD loop but usually they don't end up with as clean of a result as these 3 do. If I discover more of these openings in the future I will probably make videos for them as well.
Side note: The Mech TSD is capable of destroying the Artificial Intelligence opponents in Puyo Puyo Tetris 1 and 2. They simply cannot match the speed at which I can play. What you see in these videos is slower than what I usually do because I am doing it on my new laptop with a very different keyboard. I also think that it's good to go slow so that people watching the video can actually see what is happening.
