RFID technology has been around for many decades and they keep advancing and getting more sophisticated as time passes and technology improves. Like most technology RFID has many valuable purposes and can make life a lot easier but also like most technology, it's abused and used for evil purposes and profit. We are in the information age and the more you know about a person, the more money you can make by selling their information to whoever will pay for it. Social media companies, email providers, cell phone companies, internet service providers and pretty much every website you visit collects information about you and makes a file on you and then sells your information. The government is using this as a loop hole to avoid the 4th Amendment because they didn't illegally spy on you they bought the information from a 3rd party. To my knowledge, there are no laws against companies collecting and selling your data but I have heard of pending legislation to stop this. I don't know of any court rulings about this violating the 4th Amendment but I'm pretty sure there is a few cases waiting to be heard. I'm sure that most of you knew this and I know lots of other people don't care but this is for the ones that care. I'm sure this video is going to upset a lot of people and get me bashed but Taylor Swift is not who you think she is in many ways. You probably never heard of the 4sale app nor the documentary "Maids for Sale" unless you live in Kuwait but this is proof that human trafficking and slavery is a major issue. What's just as disturbing is the fact that Google and Apple allow this app in the app store and Facebook and Instagram also allow the sale of humans. Before you go download the app to investigate, I must WARN YOU.... The app permissions are very invasive and collect way more information than needed and I'd highly advise against downloading the app for these reasons. If you have Comcast you probably got a notification that you had to change your password and this is why. I'm sure Comcast is minimizing the situation as far as what information the hackers got because they did in the past but to be fair, at least Comcast told its customers quickly unlike Dish. Dish got hacked last year and it was a severe situation that Dish is still dealing with but Dish hid and lied about how serious the situation was. It's important to know how easy it is for a hacker to find lots of personal information about you just from your social media accounts. Accurate information is hard to find, the local news LIES and cable is expensive! This Google speaker and Alexa makes life more convenient but they spy on us just like our smart TVS, phones, computers and every other device we use on daily basis. If you use these types of devices you can turn the microphone off but I still wouldn’t trust that either and the only sure way to ensure your privacy is to unplug it. Not only was Dish hacked a month ago, but they also weren't truthful about how bad the hack was and what customer info was attained by the hackers. This will effect a lot of Dish customers because the hackers have all their personal information and now have to worry about fraudulent charges on their bank and credit card, new lines of credit being opened, and ALL accounts connected to your email address being exposed and hacked.
