Residents are getting tired of the criminal activity -- and the increased enforcement -- that the bridge is drawing. Lauren Pozen reports.

CBSLA's Rick Montanez reports from Boyle Heights where the city of Los Angeles made some modifications to the bridge to prevent more car stunts.

LAPD closed the bridge Sunday evening to all car traffic after days of dangerous driving and street takeovers, among other things.

LAPD has shut down the bridge to all car traffic due to what it called "questionable activity." People can still walk on the bridge or ride bikes through it.

And just like that, the $588 million Sixth Street Bridge has shut down after opening to the public for less than three weeks.
