Visiting the Alligator that lives under the walkway in South West Fl.

Another Alligator has decided that the best place to sun is between the walking path and the road.

This little fellow was just up the street a ways further. The saying that you should assume every body of water in Florida has an alligator in it holds true. In south Florida the alligators, armadillos, bobcats, turtles, and the kinds of birds you see in the zoos up north are everywhere.

I walked up on the creek and saw a gator interested in me. It could be that someone is feeding it, it could be that I had just eaten some fish. I gave it plenty of room and did not disturb it. After all IT was next to the trail and road. Regardless the video was way clearer than what I could see at the time, the sun and shade had made it so that my eyes couldn't adjust. I had no idea how interested he was in me until I saw the video later

A cute little gator hangs out just outside the community where the kids get on and off the bus. Subscribe to my channel and as I run across them I will post the videos. Its the busy time for Gators in this Florida community. We have a 10 foot gator in the pond... and every day its in a different pond meaning it makes its way between the homes going from pond to pond. On the walk way nearly every body of water seems to have an alligator in it, a few of those videos are included and more will be posted.

As people walk by and cars drive by there is a gator silently waiting under the bridge. I heard that there was a gator that would only be seen for a few seconds before sliding under the bridge, so I crept up on him. As I stopped the video a man with a dog walked up and the gator jumped up to try and grab the dog but the dog jumped back. That would have been a good video, the dog is fine and the gator went back under the bridge.

Here is a video of walking back to the entrance of the Estero Natural Area in South Fort Myers Florida. This area is difficult to navigate, its swampy 90% of the year and the insects are thick even in the winter. This video is high res and time lapsed so that viewers get the general idea of the nothingness that awaits them down this trail.

Face it, the land is a fun ride to cool off and see some cool plants and fish being grown for consumption and the line is rarely very long. As far as a video of it, it would put you to sleep to watch it but a nice time lapse lets you remember the ride as if it were yesterday or it lets you peruse whether you want to jump on the boat or not.
