If you haven’t already deleted your Netflix account watch the ‘Social Delima’ doc. I agree with the delima aspect of surveillance capitalism but overall I’m disappointed with the documentary makers focusing on free political speech as the general premise of what’s wrong with social media. My take on it was everyone who spoke in their interviews were ultimately speaking of something different than what the images were trying to portray. It’s almost as if the filmmakers were doing exactly what they’re complaining about. Being manipulated in very clever ways. Would love to hear others opinion.
