Video produced by the Carey Dive Center in La Paz Mexico that starts with an ad for the dive operation, then photos provided by the divers that were from Barcelona, Spain and my wife and I. The video ends with a look at Villa Carey where the divers stay when they sign up with the dive center.

This is a summary of the Edge of Space Flight that took place on 26 March 2023 from Deer Trail, CO carrying approximately 300 student experiments into the stratosphere to a maximum altitude of 104,423 feet.

This high altitude balloon flight was funded by the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the NDIA in support of STEM education for K-12 grade students from across the country. Launch took place from Deer Trail, CO. The student experiments reached an altitude of 93,034 feet. A look at the Edge of Space Program sponsored by the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the NDIA and what this program means to young students and for their STEM education.

This flight video from yesterday's Edge of Space Mission, was captured by the mini-cam on the Spring-Ford High School payload box. The video ended before balloon burst because the camera battery was drained by the extreme cold as the flight entered the stratosphere and reached a maximum altitude of 110,357.61 feet.

This Edge of Space mission summary pulls together video from traveling to the launch site, to flight prep, launch, tracking, and recovery operations. Just over 400 students participated in this flight by submitting experiments to fly into the stratosphere. The EOS mission achieved an altitude of 110,357 feet; a new record for a Rocky Mountain Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) sponsored STEM education EOS mission.

This Edge of Space video is a product of a middle school student experiment that used a Raspberry Pi computer and camera to record the high altitude balloon flight. The student who came up with this experiment, programmed the computer to collect the video. This video has been edited from the student's original 3hr video. There is no audio with this video and it is slightly out of focus, either because the small camera lens was no cleaned off or the focus ring slipped. The Edge of Space flight was funded by the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the NDIA and took place in March of 2019.

This is a collection of videos taken during a dive trip to Aruba from 27 June to 1 July that my wife and I were able to get in 10 dives on this trip, which included a night dive too. The video runs about 43 mins. Our thanks to the wonderful people at Pure Diving and to all the very friendly folks we came in contact with during this first trip to Aruba. It is "One Happy Island". Some selected music from the Six Million Dollar Guitar are used in this video.

EOS Mission summary video from the flight that took place on 12 Oct 2019 from Deer Trail, CO. Thanks to the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) for funding this STEM education program for students. Thanks also to the Edge of Space Sciences volunteers who provide the high altitude balloon operations from launch to recovery.

This is a time lapse video of the Edge of Space Flight that took place on 15 March 2020. The video has been slowed down to 2% normal speed in order to view the individual images that were collected every 10 seconds during the flight using the Spring-Ford High School video camera. The camera was attached to one side of the high school's payload box with the student experiments inside. There is no sound with this video and is unedited.

Edge of Space Mission which launch near Windsor, CO on 15 March 2020 with student experiments from across the country. This flight was made possible through funding from the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the NDIA. Student experiments from 2nd grade to high school were flown successfully to an altitude of 85,722 feet. Deep appreciation to the Edge of Space Sciences (EOSS) team which provided the balloon launch, tracking, and recovery operations.

Just under two hours of video captured during the Edge of Space Mission that took place on 24 March 2019 from Deer Trail, CO, has been edited down to this 10 minute video summary of the flight from pre-launch to successful recovery. My thanks to the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the NDIA who funded the flight, the students who provided their experiments, and all the volunteers, especially the members of Edge of Space Sciences that contributed critical support during the launch, tracking, and recovery phases of the operations. This Edge of Space Mission reached a final altitude of 100,177 feet. Experiments from high school, middle school, and elementary school students flew on this mission. Funding for this mission was provided by the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA). Launch prep, tracking, and recovery of the payloads was provided by Edge of Space of Sciences (EOSS). Payload integration and video production was provided by the National Space Science & Technology Institute (NSSTI). The final video frame at the end of this video file was collected at an altitude of 90,183 ft in which the outside temperature was -0.04º F and the atmospheric pressure was 0.24 psi.
