Guilt is something that permeates everybody’s experience and if we look at what A Course in Miracles is telling us we see that guilt is at the bottom of everything that we are experiencing.
You might wonder and say I don't feel guilt, I haven't done anything wrong, maybe I’ve done some stuff in the past but I really don't feel guilt. It's those deeper emotions, guilt and shame, that it's hard sometimes to realize that what I’m feeling behind my anger, my frustration, my impatience, my depression, my sadness, my anxiety, my fear could be some sense of guilt actually lingering in there. 🤷♀️
I want to open up this conversation and have you just be open to exploring: Could it be that I’m holding on to some guilt? And if I do, can I maybe journal about it? What could it be that I’m feeling this shame or this guilt about? ✍️
And I also want to invite you to use doTerra Forgive Essential Oil, as you're doing your journaling exercise. And the way I use the essential oils if you haven't seen me use them before is to just roll this on my wrists. It's a blend that really helps with forgiveness. And it really brings you back to if there is some guilt, I need to first realize it's not serving me anymore. I want to release that guilt but in order to release anything we have to first know that we have it and why we have it. Why I’m holding onto this guilt? 🤔

Live Your Life as Though Everything is a Miracle! 🌟
“There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle, the other is as though everything is a miracle.” Albert Einstein.
How do I choose to look at my life? It's a choice. Do I choose to look at it as though everything is a miracle including the bad stuff? Or is nothing a miracle and everything is happening to me? I’m at the mercy of what's going on around me and I don't seem to feel that I can create my own reality because I’m the effect of everything that's going on? 🤔
I want you to ponder on that. Am I living as a creator of my life or as a victim of what's going on? And it's your choice.
If you choose that you're the creator of your life and your experience then you will notice the miracles. Oh, watch out they will come! But if you feel that life is happening to you, events are happening to you and there's not much power you have over anything you will not see any miracles.
I've lived my life for many years in victimhood. I felt I had no power. What creator you're talking about? 🤨
Think about this today. If you choose to see it as a miracle... you release worry. We worry so much. But we have to think about: Is there an end to worry? Like if this and that go well, I will stop worrying. Then I will find more stuff to worry, there's always stuff to worry about. 😳
We focus so much of our energy on what we don't want. We don't focus our energy on what we do want and how can I be creator of what I want. How can I use this life as a miracle to see how I can pour my attention and my energy into what I do want and what I do want to create. 🌻

You Have a Part in this Global Change! 🌍
Okay, everybody wants world peace, everybody talks about peace, I just want to ask: Are we doing the individual work that it takes to have world peace?
The fact is that we are all connected. What I do on an individual level has an impact on the collective level because we are all entangled, we are all connected.💫
So when I do my individual work I’m contributing to the collective work towards peace. So, instead of pointing our fingers out there and saying that this and that needs to happen to have peace, let's look within and see on a day-to-day basis: “What do I do to get closer to peace?”
The biggest obstacle to peace is fear. If we look around us everybody's in fear. Very few people are not experiencing fear right now. How are we going to get to peace if we are experiencing fear? 😳
So, let’s go within and look at our own responsibility in terms of “Am I experiencing fear on a day-to-day basis?” Because if I am, that's going to be a big obstacle to peace. And if I truly want peace, I have to tap into love which is the antidote to fear. 💖
If I look outside of me there's no evidence that we're going to have world peace or any form of peace any time soon. But when I look within and I look at the everyday steps that I need to follow to go from fear to love and to experience peace, then new doors open. 🦋 Synchronicities happen, things start shifting and all of a sudden, it's like “I see what I need to do to contribute to whatever is my purpose is or to whatever is that I can do to contribute to this collective peace.” 🥰

Welcome to this new video series! I’m Lida Sportel, licensed psychotherapist and Functional Medicine Practitioner. I have decided to do these series of Inspirations for Whole Wellness to inspire you & help you return to Whole Wellness 🥰
I used to run a group in a domestic violence shelter. We talked a lot about emotions and the trauma that they were going through and how to process that through psychotherapeutic techniques. 🌸
One of the things that I remember discussing with that group is this quote: “You can't heal what you can't feel.”
What does that mean? If I’m looking to heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, sickness, whatever it is that each person is struggling with... You can't heal if you don't allow yourself to feel it. 💜
A lot of the people are running from feeling it, they are fixing or ignoring it. They do things to distract themselves from it. It doesn't work like that. Look where we're at in our world. 🙄
It's because we're not allowing the wisdom, the feeling and the heart within us to process things. And when we process things, we look at those things that have been holding us back. We take a moment to just feel that feeling and not be afraid of that. Even if it's pain, trauma or whatever we allow that to be. 💫

Can you take a moment to realize that the solution is not out there? The solution is not to run from what is, it is not to try to avoid these uncomfortable feelings and numb them with alcohol, drugs, food and TV and whatever. The solution is within. 🌟
And if we can get strong enough to be with ourselves and be with the pain, the fear, the anger and the trauma we will rise even stronger from that. 💪

“The Allegory of the Cave” & What it Means for You!
Today I want to have a conversation with you about the allegory of the cave that Plato described thousands of years ago and how we can apply that into our modern world and our personal lives.
Key points of what you’ll learn:
-The Allegory of the Cave talks about some chained prisoners in a cave facing a wall and watching shadows that were being projected from behind them. All they were doing all day long in their lives was to watch these shadows and they were 110% convinced that reality was what was happening on that wall. One of the prisoners woke up from the dream, unchained himself, left the cave and realized that there was a whole beautiful world out there and that the Sun was the Source and not the darkness of the cave.
-This allegory can help us right now to understand what's going on in our lives and to help us awaken from the dream on 3 different levels. The 1st level is in your personal life and things about yourself that you are chained by, repetitive patterns, areas you feel stuck and that you just can't change. The 2nd level is looking at things that perhaps we were oblivious to before about what's been going on for years all around the globe and how we've been like the puppets that have been manipulated and brainwashed to think and to feel a certain way. And the 3rd level is the ultimate awakening to who we truly are and not who the ego has told us we are.
-The truth passes through three stages: Stage one it is ridiculed, second stage it is violently opposed and third stage it’s accepted as self-evidence. If you have been chained and you're suffering and you're sick and tired of staring at that wall, maybe it is time to get out of the prison & see that there is a better way!
