Vitamix E320 Explorian Blender Black, 64 oz
https://amzn.to/3IsXWLY - Vitamix E320 Explorian Blender Black, 64 oz
Vitamix E320 Explorian Blender Black, 64 oz
I had been wanting a Vitamix blender for YEARS. I knew what they were capable of, but I had never felt comfortable to drop that much money on just one appliance.
I didnt want some low-end Vitamix bargain blender either (which are also quite expensive comparatively). If I was going to make a big purchase and get a Vitamix, I wanted the best of the best!
Specifically, I wanted the classic Vitamix Professional Series 750 at a whopping $649.95. I never ended up getting one, but I did get the Vitamix E320 Explorian blender.
This may be the only review you need to read before making your decision. I have done exhaustive research into my decision here.
I even have a membership with Consumer Reports, a nonprofit organization dedicated to unbiased product testing, consumer-oriented research, public education, and advocacy.
They accept no advertising, pays for all the products it tests, and publishes reviews and comparisons of consumer products and services based on reporting and results from its in-house testing laboratory and survey research center.
Out of 77 full-sized blender models they have tested, Consumer Reports have repeatedly kept the Vitamix Professional Series 750 in first place! Its 2019, and there has been significant technology boosts over the years.
Appliance-makers need to keep up in this digital world, so theyre constantly competing with their fellow brands to differentiate themselves.
Theyre adding silly features like touch interfaces and additional sensors that read the container size you’ve chosen and automatically adjust program settings and maximum blending times accordingly.
Dont get sucked into the hype on this "innovative" technology! The latest and greatest from Vitamix is the A3500 Ascent Series, and it doesnt even compare to the models that have lasted for decades (according to Consumer Reports).
Stay away from these newer/pricier models and stick to the ones that have been consistently tested with positive results.
Now that weve gotten these details out of the way, you may be asking how the Vitamix Professional Series 750 compares to the Vitamix Explorian Series E320.
Well, the Vitamix Explorian Series E320 is a brand new model. Its completely manual and doesnt have the "fancy presets" that you would see (and probably never use) on the Vitamix Professional Series 750.
If you look at the raw specs, these are BOTH 2.2-horsepower blenders. The main difference is the price. Again, the Vitamix Professional Series 750 is $649.95, but the Vitamix Explorian Series E320 is a mere $349.99.
Why would any sane person pay $300 more for the same thing?
I have even spoken to a Vitamix employee recently, and although they were not supposed to divulge this information, they stated the Vitamix Explorian Series E320 works exactly the same as the Vitamix Professional Series 750.
They made a new model number and lowered the price to stay competitive. I currently use the Vitamix Explorian Series E320 blender at least 1-2x per day to make smoothies.

How can you not like a Vitamix? This is our first one--a gift to ourselves to encourage more eating greens. Its working! Just press a button and it self-blends according to your need: smoothie, ice cream, soup, dip, and my favorite: self-clean.
Or use the manual option. Sleek design is not obtrusive on the counter. Highly recommend.
This blender has changed my life literally. Now I’m enjoying Hot Soups less than 6 mins.I’m never buying Commercial Ice Cream again. My Ice Creams are made with 2, 3, or 4 Healthy Natural ingredients to my liking. No Preservatives and none - ice cream products.
( you know what I mean). Please Vitamix I think your recipe books should be of a MUCH lighter color not black or dark.I wear glasses and I hate strain to see.Anyway.
Thank you for making such a Powerful Blender.Be Blessed
My whole family loves it!! My girls make their own ice cream in 1 min, simply using frozen berries and whatever milk we have in the house. It’s the best addition to our kitchen.

Ninja BN401 Nutri Pro Compact Personal Blender, Auto-iQ Technology, 1100-Peak-Watts, for Frozen Drinks, Smoothies, Sauces...
Prior to this one I was using a larger Ninja I got a few years ago to make my smoothies. It worked fine but I wanted the convenience of the detachable cups.
I was not prepared for how much better this blender is at making a perfect smoothie. The consistency is dead on and all I have to do is push the "Smoothie" button.
No guesswork to figure out if Ive blended it enough. One button and about 60 seconds later voila! The ideal smoothie. Definitely recommended.
I had another blender that I returned beause it leaked contents while blending. I think it was made by Koios. That serving cup was too small for even one person.
You cant go past the fill line and so it ended up being about 10 oz. So I returned it, got my money back and added $30 more dollars and bought:THIS amazing Ninja Nutri Pro.
I have missed my smoothies for 3 days. The serving cup is just the right size for me (comes with 2). From out of the box to drinking a perfectly blended smoothie took about 8 minutes.
This machine intuitively knows how long to blend a smoothie. It starts and stops until its just the right consistently. I like to drink mine through a straw, so I add a little more liquid (almond milk).
I leave it on my counter unplugged for the next time. It has little feet on the bottom so it wont fall over.I use frozen fruits, so its a snap from start to finish.
I cant wait to try some of their recipies which they included. I want to experiment with more greens and nuts. And its dishwasher safe. What more can you ask for?
It is really worth the money on this blender.A + Ninja Nutri Pro
It blends my smoothies very well. It blends the ice cubes with no problem. I like that is has a few settings to choose from between pulse, a steady blend, crush and smoothie.
It is a space saver for my counter. It also comes with 2 usable blender cups and lids. This blender is a great value for the quality, ease of use, size and price.
Make a smoothies so perfect!
The Ninja Nutri Pro blender is currently my favorite making summer beverage blender, and I have several before, but the blender is very large(500ml) and the blender making smooth is very delicate.
The blender is much better than I expected. Especially it has a smart Auto qi function, although the sound is louder, especially when there are ice cubes or iced furit, but the blending is quickly so I can tolerate the noise in the short time.
In summer, it is great to make a milkshake and made of natural fruit without sugar for kid. It can make 500ml at a time, and 1000ml with two cups, and the each cup has a lid.

Ninja BN701 Professional Plus Bender, 1400 Peak Watts, 3 Functions for Smoothies, Frozen Drinks & Ice Cream with Auto IQ, ...
It might be an unfair comparison due to the different price point. The Ninja works very well, has some clever features and is an excellent value. But it unfortunately cannot replace my Vitamix for making smoothies.
The main deficit of the Ninja vs. vitamix is the pure horsepower. The impact is that for fruit/veggie smoothies, it just cant get the same degree of smoothness that the viatmix gets.
I put in ingredients including berries, chia seeds etc. In the vitamix the final result is very smooth. In the Ninja the final result still has small hard particles, and it actually affects the taste too that theyre not fully ground in.
If youre not using ingredients that have little seeds (like raspberries, chia seeds, etc), then Ninja should be fine though. The 3 tier blade is pretty clever for pulling the ingredients down into (vs. just one level of blades at bottom).
And the preset cycles works well too. Suction cups hold the base in place. The locking mechanism on the lid is well designed. Overall just a nicely designed product.
Ninja is a respected brand name on this house. I have used their coffee maker for years and was very happy to get the blender. This blender is huge, powerful and will do more than I expected faster and better than I hoped.
Crush ice, smoothies, drinks quick and easy. Cleans up quickly too.
Our go-to blender for the last few years has been an incredible Blendtec Classic. It has handled just about everything we could throw at it - from mixing smoothies to soaked rice and even coconut kernels.
Add in its high capacity jar, and the fact that it has held up over years of daily use, and there was very little reason to consider a replacement. So how does this Ninja compare.
The first thing to catch my eye was the three pairs of blades on the center spindle. The Blendtec has just a single pair. Second, is the removable spindle which makes cleanup easier.
Draining the very last bits of my smoothie was always a challenge with the Blendtecs fixed-blade design. Third, the whole unit feels very solidly constructed.
Right from the suction cups at the base that cling to granite like a gecko, to the solid feel of the jar and the lid, and the very heavy base.
Every part of this blender feels high quality, and even simple things like how the lid couples to the jar, or how the jar attaches to the base are very well done - this is truly excellent product design and engineering.
In contrast, the Blendtec seems more functional, than elegant. Fourth, performance. This Ninja works well, and is just as good as my old Blendtec - which at 1560 Watts single-mindedly chews through any job with no fuss.
Fifth, counter space. The Blendtec is much more compact for the same level of performance. If space is at a premium (which it is for us), the Blendtec blends into its surroundings much more easily.
The Ninja seems to be almost overpowering in terms of sheer presence on the countertop. Finally, the Auto-IQ. Unfortunately, I have not used the presets yet - and cannot speak to it.
With the Blendtec, we go by intuition - which so far has worked well for us. In summary - if all you need is a monomaniacal unit that is more functional than esthetic, the Blendtec is the way to go.
On the other hand, if you want to feel awe at what human engineering can do, this Ninja is hard to beat. Cant go wrong with either blender!
Ok, so I own a high-end Vitamix blender, but I prefer this Ninja blender for all drinks and I will explain why as succinctly as possible.
Some details: --approx assembled dimensions: 9.5" deep, 7" wide, 17.75" tall -- Pitcher removed is 10.5" tall with lid --all attachments are DISHWASHER safe!

You can pack the container tight and it has no trouble chopping it up into a liquid. Then just put it in a pan on the stove add Mrs. Wages Pasta Sauce seasoning, cook it down for a bit and you will have the greatest tasking pasta sauce ever.
Check out my video I process tomatoes and I also use the food processor to process onions. Processing the onions worked ok, but the chop was weird, lot of long pieces, aosl the was a lot of chnky bits of
With some blenders Ive used in the past, Ive had to be careful not to overload them and risk damaging the unit, but with this one, I have to be careful not to blend for more than a few seconds to avoid immediately obliterating whatever I put in.
Ive filled this full of ice and it crushed it into snow in no time. With the assortment of items you get in this package, it definitely has a lot more value than some alternatives that come with only one or two blending containers, since you have basically everything you could want to use with a blender right off the bat.Ive only noticed two downsides that Im not really sure are even fixable: Its very loud (yes, blenders are loud, but this is immensely louder than my previous nutribullet even when Im blending something smaller), and the blades dont pick up the best from the bottom of the container.
I was blending oats into flour in the smoothie sized cup, and I had to keep shaking it up towards the end to get everything powdery.
Not the biggest problem, but its about the only problem worth mentioning that I noticed. Now, does everyone need a blender as powerful as this one when something cheaper could work just as fine?
No, but if you can afford the slight price premium, its definitely nice knowing that theres basically nothing thatll stop this blender (at least in a private use setting).
Sure enough, that was the first thing I tried and it worked perfectly! I filled it ¾ full with ice, used the ice crush feature, and didn’t have a single clump of ice.
The snow is just like the snow you would get from outside in the winter, which is different than shaved ice, which you might get from a cafe. This is more powdery than silky.
Great for snow cones and frozen drinks. I may have added wine to my snow cone.Frozen drinks:Since this was able to make snow out of nothing but ice, I wasn’t surprised that it made the thickest frozen drink I’ve ever had.
When using home blenders before, I could never get the thick, frosty consistency I would get when going out to a restaurant. Making a pina colada with this ninja was a breeze.
The consistency was thick and smooth. All my family was impressed, and we’ve now been drinking blended cocktails every night.Food Processor:The food processor attachment worked as expected.
It pulverized some nuts and graham crackers I was using to make a crust with no problem.
No issues here.Single Serve Cups:The single serve cups did a good job in blending liquidy smoothies, but didn’t perform as well as the main pitcher when blending anything that was frozen.
I had to add more liquid to the single serve cups to get a smooth consistency.Considerations:There are a few things I think should be considered before purchasing this blender:-One thing I didn’t like are the suction cups on the bottom of the blender.

Whynter BBR-801BG Built-in Black Glass 80-can capacity 3.4 cu ft Beverage Refrigerators, One Size
Nice looking, super easy to install, works great. But be aware of its size and location. It is VERY deep (a good thing) but VERY low, as required by its design.
So, while you have a great deal of room, some of it is borderline unusable. If you use the bottom shelf for wine bottles, problem solved.
But if you use it for individual cans, they will go so far back that it requires yoga-like moves to get low enough to even see them, much less retrieve them.
Somebody help me up......
Looks nice, cools well, very quiet... Excellent packaging... Double layers of packing... No damage... Happy customer!
We dont really do wines, so we wanted something more for sodas and beers. this fit the bull nicely. The all black look was a nice contrast to our steely kitchen appliances.

Whynter UIM-155 Stainless Steel Built-In Ice Maker & BR-130SB Internal Fan Beverage Refrigerators, One Size, Black/Stainle...
Works great. Built into outdoor kitchen. Small but makes quite a bit of ice for size. When full it fills up plastic grocery bag with ice. No drain needed.
No pump needed. Very simple. Same type of cubes as ice maker on fridge inside.Way cheaper than most ice makers I was considering. Very happy with purchase.
Photo was taken before countertop installed.Update: 2/2018 still works great!
So far so good!!! Has been plugged in and on for over a month and its amazing! This thing puts out some ice and its the good ice too. However, I do foresee having to defrost it maybe every 2 months or so.
No biggie, just turn off and put a towel inside as mentioned in previous reviews. Mine is outside in the humidity too, Louisiana!
Okay this is probably going to be the most honest and up to date review you will see for this fridge. For starters this ice maker is more on the budget side for ice makers with a built in freezer, that being said you have to baby these things for them to last.
So I’m going to go over what my overall experience is with this ice maker. First off, in my opinion I would use a water filter to prevent debris from entering the unit, this prevents the build up of chlorine.UPDATE: the fridge is now 2 years old.
I was experiencing an issue with water build up, I had water leaking into my bucket making it a solid block of ice.
What I did to fix this is I simply removed the screws holding the ice maker in and unplugged the mechanism, and sure enough water built up from defrosting it so many times.
After cleaning it, it works brand new. I HAVE READ PEOPLE THROWING THESE OUT BC THE ICE MAKER STOPS WORKING. DON’T YOU CAN BUY REPLACEMENTS AT LOWES OR HOME DEPOT FOR LESS THAN $50.00
