How do baby bunnies eat? I was able to capture one of our babies determined to nurse from mom but mom wasn't that interested in letting her nurse too much. Watch how baby flips over under mom to nurse, or try to nurse! This is one of the ways baby bunnies eat from their mother. These babies are growing fast and are exploring their space more and more every day even with the guinea fowl in the same coop, they are all getting along! I'm glad to see these baby bunnies growing fast because we live on the southern coast of Nova Scotia, Canada and it's early October here, the weather has been great but it is starting to get cooler at night so it's really important that we keep their nesting space as warm as possible for them with lots of straw and fur mom has pulled from herself to help keep them toasty.

One rabbit. One squirrel. One plane. Is there anything more suspenseful? A rabbit goes outside! The rabbit was previously abandoned outside prior to being rescued, when he was captured outside and taken to a rabbit shelter. Hence why the rabbit remains a bit leery of the outdoors.

I think she likes it.

Our outside cat Delilah caught a live rabbit and parades it around the yard. The rabbit did get away after I stopped filming and was just playing possum. UPDATE! Delilah recently passed in late December 2021. she was a great cat and lived a long life. we found her forever sleeping peacefully on the bathroom rug. Delilah was an outside cat for an many years but chose to come inside slightly before she passed. she always wanted to be outside. I feel like she wanted to be near her family in her final moments. RIP Delilah.

No worries the Rabbit was relatively unharmed! Was definitely unhappy about being handled. Cat was quite proud of the result of his mid afternoon hunt.

Erika, the friendliest echidna is a wild animal who became very comfortable with us. She visits us daily.

Rabbit drinking apple cider after rabbi eating breakfast! The rabbit gets very excited for his first breakfast (crunchies) and his second breakfast (vegetables) and his morning drink! The rabbit runs downstairs excitedly and careens around the corner into the kitchen. The rabbit is learning tricks, like standing up on his hind legs, and learning to come when called.

I was away on a school trip for five days. When I got home, he immediately went on my lap and demanded pettings. If I don’t pet him, he usually headbutts my hand. When that doesn’t work, he begins to lick my hand and the final move is biting my hand. It’s never too hard, just a little nibble and the pain fades away quickly.

I bought my sweet rescued bunnies a new sandbox and they love it! Today they played in it for a very long time and had so much fun..
