What do the stories of Enoch and Noah tell us about ourselves, our relationship (walk) with God and how to live abundantly in difficult times? ‭Genesis 5:24 ESV‬ Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him. ‭ഉല്പ. 5:24 IRVMAL‬ ഹാനോക്ക് ദൈവത്തോടുകൂടെ നടന്നു, ദൈവം അവനെ എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടതിനാൽ കാണാതെയായി. ‭Genesis 6:9 ESV‬ [9] These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation. Noah walked with God. ‭ഉല്പ. 6:9 IRVMAL‬ [9] നോഹയുടെ വംശചരിത്രം ഇതാണ്: നോഹ നീതിമാനും തന്റെ തലമുറയിൽ നിഷ്കളങ്കനുമായിരുന്നു; നോഹ ദൈവത്തോടുകൂടെ നടന്നു.

In Exodus 31, God sets apart Bezalel to do some important creative work. The spirit of God gave him the knowledge and the ability to be a master craftsman and to fulfill the purpose he has been given (Exodus 36-39). Even though we might not be creating something like the Ark of the Covenant, the Holy Spirit can give us the supernatural abilities to fulfill the callings God has for us.

Enoch, the man in Genesis 5 who was "walked with God" and was "taken" by God. Not much is known about him other than this in the Book of Genesis - aside from his lifespan and his place in the genealogy. There is a facinating book that claims to give us a lot of the backstory. It's not included in most Bibles, however it is referenced in the Bible. So, should we read The Book of Enoch or not? If so, how often, and how much? Believe it or not, this can be a controversial question for some. However, I believe the answer is a little new ones nuanced and reading the Book of Enoch can indeed be a benefit for certain people and an extra resource in certain circumstances (but not a replacement for Genesis or other books in the Bible).
