This entire series was filmed during late summer of 2010.Many of the personalities still can be found but many others have moved on. This series will tell you of history, it will show attractions, and it will make you laugh and cry. This is the Mother Road. Follow us as we reveal American's main street. In this episode of the Route 66 Adventure Jeri Justus concludes the Harvey House tour, then we visited Debra Hodkin at the Route 66 Museum located in the Harvey House. From here we did our drive by filming of The Route 66 Motel, Sage Motel, the Do Drop Inn ruins, and the Two Sixes Company as we speed to our ultimate destination to meet and speak with Artist Elmer Long about his massive artwork called "Bottle tree Forest". Elmer Long was a celebrity on the old road; unfortunately he is no longer with us. He was fascinating, original and friendly. I am glad to have met him.
