Pier Fishermen SURPRISED by FREE Grouper 'n Snapper Fishing Trip!

I was in need of some grouper and snapper fillets for the freezer. I only had one problem, I couldn't find anybody go to fishing on perfect day! I decided to continue my search for fishing buddies by stopping by the Fort De Soto Bay Pier, Fort De Soto Beach Pier ( Potter's Pier ) and trying to find some nice people to SURPRISE and have them jump on my boat and go load the fish box with some awesome fish. Fortunately I found Satch, Eric, and Ethan. They were more than happy to join me on the day's trip, which was completely 100% FREE.

We headed to the Anna Maria Island Hard Bottom and Ledges area. Using baits such as live shrimp and frozen threadfin herring, we were quickly reeling in fish like triggerfish, lane snapper, mangrove snapper, porgies, red grouper, and some nice gag grouper. The action lasted all day and we came back with plenty of fish fillets for everyone.

Everyone had an outstanding time and we made lasting memories. I look forward to these adventures and hope I get to meet you some day out on the water for a surprise fishing trip.
