Thor Love and Thunder continues the Marvel Studios Trends of MASSIVE second weekend box office crashes, falling an enormous 68% over the opening weekend, in exactly the same fashion as Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness.

Surely theaters are getting very frustrated as no doubt Disney will exercise their "get out of jail free" card and trigger a 45 day drop on Disney Plus, exactly as they have for the entirety of MCU Phase 4.

Thor Love and Thunder needs about $750M at the global box office to break even and recover its production and marketing budgets, but it doesn't look like this film will make it.
