Black Panther 2 Wakanda Forever has it's final unencumbered weekend in theaters and will fall well short of the initial $800M projections we had. Granted it will still trickle in money over the next few weeks, but that trickle is unlikely to salvage Disney's massive investment, which was even BIGGER than we initially thought. Earlier this week, a rock-solid source disclosed to WDW PRO that Disney's marketing spend for Wakanda forever was roughly $250M after reallocating monies AWAT from Lightyear and Strange World.

Patti Jenkins was also apparently released from WONDER WOMAN 3 following her release from Star Wars Lucasfilm's ROGUE SQUADRON and Gal Gadot's CLEOPATRA. Seems like Patti Jenkins has been a long running problem for major Hollywood studios.
