Cockroach upstages Met Gala attendees

Imagine you’re a cockroach (called, for the sake of argument, Alan). You're making your way home after a long day of... doing whatever it is cockroaches do, when suddenly an army of giant bipeds in shiny clothes descend, threatening your very way of life. What do you do? If you’re our plucky hero at the New York Met Gala on Monday, you perform some Matrix-style gymnastics to evade the stamping feet of your enemies, making yourself a minor celebrity in the process. Sadly, Alan the cockroach eventually succumbed to being stepped on, despite fighting bravely to the end.
