Greenpeace activists cover UK PM’s home in black cloth

The OG eco-botherers have been out in force, giving UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s house a makeover. Greenpeace activists arrived at the PM’s Yorkshire home on Thursday as part of a protest against his plan to increase oil and gas drilling in the North Sea. Exactly why they decided dressing his house up as an emo was going to help matters, we’re not sure. The rooftop activists also held up a large yellow sign that read ‘No new oil.’ Sadly, Sunak didn’t see this sign because he’s currently on vacation in California.

You do have to wonder how they managed to gain access to Chez Sunak. Did Rishi know about the stunt? Perhaps he left a note for his house sitter - ‘Papers and milk canceled, trash day is Thursday, if you hear anything on the roof it’s only Greenpeace.’
