The steel clubbell single side push press is a very difficult exercise. The shoulders have to decelerate and stabilise the club in a disadvantaged position. There is the leverage of the club, the leverage of where the club is in relation to your body, plus holding the club in a weaker position on the side of the body. This movement is excellent for building shoulder strength, stability and durability as well as challenging the core to resist lateral flexion.
