I just finished reading Enchanted Air, Tow Cultures, Tow Wings A Memoir by Margarita Engle.

Wearing shoes is must in many if not in all Latino Households, both my grandma and my mom get upset at me when I visit them and they see me not wearing shoes.

How do your family feel about not wearing shoes at home?

Many Latino families, especially Grandparents, have no filters, they will literary tell you what they think about how you look and tell you in your face how they feel about you looking too skinny or too fat.
