Flying the DJI FPV Drone Around Port Aransas Beach on a Saturday Afternoon #beach #portaransas

The Kite Fliers from the Coastal Bend Flying Circus & Surfside Fliers Kite Club were out in force on August 19th to showcase their kites. Larie Gardner & her BF Tim Cook organized this event at Mile Marker 13 on the Port Aransas Beach. This is on the Texas Gulf Coast, near Corpus Christi. For this daytime video, we flew the DJI FPV Drone in winds 12mph-18mph, which caused the drone, & subsequent video footage, to tilt at an angle when flying sideways against the winds. This was also the first time that our GF Avril Rollison had experienced a "drone ride-a-long" by wearing a 2nd pair of drone goggles to be able to see what the pilot was seeing. She handled it fairly well.
