Most Versatile Shoe! Converse All-Stars! Running In CHUCKS CHALLENGE! | Dr K & Dr Wil

A number of folks come into our office asking what type of shoe is best for running, training, powerlifting, etc... Enter the Converse All-Stars aka “Chucks” or Chuck Taylors. They have been around since 1917 and were originally used for basketball and became the official shoe for the Olympic Games from 1936-1968. They were also the official athletic training shoe of the U.S. Armed Forces during World War II. Bodybuilders such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Powerlifters such as Eddie Hall, and Boxers such as Rocky Balboa also train in CHUCKS. That being said, CHUCKS may be the Most Versatile Athletic Shoe!

Prior to the advent of running shoes, CHUCKS were THE SHOE of choice and were essentially the original “ZERO DROP” shoe.
