Putin takes all-terrain vehicle for icy spin
President Putin’s first working trip to Russia’s Chukotka Region, which borders the US state of Alaska, was marked by a risky trip in a ‘Predator’ all-terrain vehicle, along a dangerous ice road that is yet to officially open.
According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, drivers take the road ‘at their own risk’, as the ice was not yet thick enough to guarantee safe passage. Nevertheless, everything was ‘checked 10 times’ before the intrepid journey, and luckily there were no slippy accidents.
