Previously fit and healthy patient received 2 Covid mRNA shots followed by Covid infection 2X, followed by a booster shot causing vasculitis, accelerated atherosclerosis.

Patient’s right carotid artery was totally occluded; Left carotid artery was 99% occluded.

The patient was taken in under a Professor Sultan for emergency surgery for a stroke in evolution.

Welcome to this talk.
00:19
Now we're going to look at an anonymous procedure carried out by Professor Sherif Sultan, the consultant vascular surgeon we interviewed recently.
00:29
Now, this is about this patient here.
00:32
Now this is his scan preoperatively.
00:35
Now, what we actually see here is the carotid arteries and we can see the external carotid arteries, but we don't really see much of the internal carotid arteries that of course take the blood supply to the brain.
00:47
So you can feel the carotid arteries in the neck, the bifurcate at the level of the top of the thyroid cartilage that knobbly bit.
00:53
And they're supposed to be two branches, one on each side, go into the brain.
00:57
They're not visible on this, on this image.
01:00
Now what happened here was this was a previously fit and healthy man, no disease.
01:06
And then he had two lots of COVID vaccine.
01:10
So he had two lots of COVID vaccine and then he had COVID infection once or twice, one or two times, probably twice.
01:19
Then after the two vaccines and then after the COVID infection, he had the booster vaccine, and after that his right carotid artery was totally occluded, taking blood supply to the brain, and the left one was 99% occluded.
01:34
That's why you can't see them on this picture.
01:36
And he was taken in under a Professor Sultan for emergency surgery for a stroke in evolution.
01:42
In other words, when a stroke starts happening, you'll get, you'll get the disability, you'll get the the the, the, the paralysis on one side of the body.
01:50
But that takes time to evolve.
01:52
So a stroke in evolution and if you can get rid of the obstruction early, then you can get the blood supply back to the brain and prevent the stroke from evolving.
02:00
That's the that's the the aim.
02:04
And this patient was referred for exploration of the carotid artery.
02:09
So this is the occlusion here in the top of the carotid artery and we're going to see the surgery which cleared that.
02:19
Now there is a surgical procedure, so this is what you're about to see.
02:25
This is a fit, healthy man who will have nothing.
02:28
You've got the two doses of vaccination for COVID.
02:32
Then he developed COVID once and twice and then went for a booster vaccination.
02:37
He occluded totally the right side and the left side is 99% in here, as you could see.
02:42
And he's gone for an emergency college for stroke and evolution as he was going to find inside the inside his carotid and how we'll be able to help him.
02:52
Totally normal, no symptoms.
02:54
And then he might turn for a booster vaccination.
02:57
He included the contralateral side as I've shown you on the CT scan, and this side is 99%.
03:03
Let's see what we have in here from this.
03:07
Vaccination that caused accelerated You see the amount of stuff that you had.
03:14
And you could see the clot into his.
03:22
Can you back up please?Very severe disease in here for somebody who was totally asymptomatic before he got the.
03:44
COVID and then the booster vaccination.
03:48
I think before we give any boosters, we need to check the antibodies for the patient because I think that booster causes vasculitis for the patient not the previous infection.
03:58
Show exactly what's going to be in this guy's neck.
04:01
Remember the other side, we couldn't do anything because totally occluded and we think this so often now that you don't understand, I think that COVID and COVID vaccination have to be a risk factor for prefer for cardiovascular disease.
04:36
Oh, look at this.
04:38
This was going to the brain of the patient.
04:40
Nothing will dissolve this TP or anything like this.
04:45
Look to the other track.
04:47
So definitely there's something that's causing these problems and we need to investigate it thoroughly.
04:54
So just to clarify that we had a totally normal asymptomatic man, We can't give his age obviously, for reasons of the confidentiality.
05:03
And there we saw Professor Sultan opening the carotid artery and he found this localized patch of atherosclerosis, this fatty material in degradation of the wall of the artery.
05:15
And there was a clot in it as well.
05:17
So the atheroma presumably caused blood turbulence and that has led to the blood clotting which closed off the blood supply to the brain.
05:24
Causing the stroke in evolution, Professor Sultan identified very severe disease and, he said, accelerated atherosclerosis.
05:34
It looks like this Atherosclerosis in this patch, in this particular artery, in this case, developed much more quickly.
05:41
Than we would normally expect accelerated atherosclerosis.
05:46
Therefore, Professor Sultan advises checking antibody levels before someone receives a booster COVID vaccine.
05:55
I'll say that again, Professor Sultan recommends checking antibody levels before giving someone a COVID booster vaccination.
06:05
I'm not a professor, but that makes perfect sense to me.
06:09
Treat the patient as an individual.
06:11
We assess, plan, implement.
06:13
And evaluate care on an individualized basis or we did.
06:18
He suspects it might be the combination of the infection and the vaccines.
06:23
So this patient two vaccines, COVID once or twice, then the booster vaccines.
06:28
Is it the combination of these which is causing the vasculitis, the inflammation of the blood vessels? And he questions whether COVID and vaccination is a risk factor for cerebral vascular and general atheromatous disease.
06:42
When you're seeing this often now, what can we make of that single case? Obviously not very much.
06:48
But the fact that our professor here of vascular surgery is asking this question to me merits an official response from the government, and our spec will get one by tea time.
07:02
We can hope.
07:04
Let's just see how this patient finished off after Professor Soltan managed to put a patch a graft over the damaged area to restore the blood supply.
07:14
And we'll see that he managed to restore very good blood supply through this vessel that was 99% occluded.
07:20
An impressive piece of surgery.
07:22
So because he was on the interject me, this is the patch.
07:28
Good flow.
07:30
We advise the guy don't get any more booster vaccination because everything happened for him.
07:35
Post this booster vaccination.
07:39
Thank you.
07:42
Well, quite an impressive procedure.
07:44
Carotid endarterectomy taking out the disease from inside the carotid artery and there was good blood flow.
07:50
After the patch was put on, you could hear the whoosh of the Doppler in the background indicating there was good blood flow.
07:57
And this particular patient was advised not to have any more COVID booster vaccinations.
08:05
So the message really is quite clear, we should this thing would indicate that it's a good idea.
08:11
To test people's antibodies before we give them COVID booster vaccines.
08:16
If they've already got good antibody levels, then then I guess we can let the natural immunity, the wonderful natural immune system, take care of it.
08:27
Need to start treating patients as individuals.
08:32
But for now, thank you for watching.
