A rocket is set to launch on Friday using a different type of fuel.
The rocket will be fuelled by candle wax and liquid oxygen.
The German rocket will blast off at 3:30pm, after a successful prelaunch rehearsal yesterday.
It will launch from the Koonibba Test Range in the state's far west.
The rocket is being used to test if a greener alternative to rocket fuel can be viable.
