No one in the energy sector believes Australia will reach net zero targets: Caleb Bond
Australians are “starting to see the reality” of the Albanese government’s climate targets, says Sky News host Caleb Bond.
“Most people in their heart of hearts have no particular problem with trying to decarbonise,“ Mr Bond said.
“As long as it does not hurt them economically.
“It’s abundantly clear every time you open up your power bill that renewables are not the cheapest form of energy.
“No one in the energy sector seriously believes that we’re going to meet these net-zero targets.”

Hillary Clinton claims Donald Trump will lock up his opponents if he wins the election
Hillary is only doing Satans work ..........
Hillary Clinton has boldly claimed former US president Donald Trump would lock up his political opponents if he became president.
On Thursday, the former first lady appeared on MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe’ show alongside hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough.
While Clinton claims Trump will put his opponents in jail, the former president is currently involved in a trial of his own.
The 45th president has described his New York hush-money trial as a “witch hunt” by a “biased judge”.
Trump allegedly falsified his business records and allegedly paid Stormy Daniels to remain silent ahead of the 2016 presidential election.
The former president has pleaded not guilty to all charges and has maintained innocence.

'Failure of parenthood’ to blame for domestic violence crisis
Former Labor senator Graham Richardson says the domestic violence issue seems to be due to a “failure of parenthood”.
Tens of thousands of Australians took to the streets demanding action against gender-based violence after 27 women were killed at the hands of men since the start of the year.
Crowds gathered across Victoria, Queensland and the ACT calling for an end to gendered violence and for strong government action to protect women.
“There is a whole generation of parents who just haven’t done their job,” Mr Richardson told Sky News Australia.
“When parents fail, the only other way that you can teach those kids respect for women or respect for the person around them is to do what everybody else does in these circumstances.
“There is no substitute here for parental guidance and it’s a weak substitute to have governments trying to fill the gap with laws but that’s about all you can do.”

Anzac Day speaks to the best of Australians and our country: Peta Credlin
The government is trying to cancel out ANZAC Day & the meaning of it - which means cancelling out the women & men who fought for us, let's not let them.......
Sky News host Peta Credlin acknowledges Anzac Day speaks to the best of Australians and the country as she gave thanks to fallen soldiers and the Australian Defence Force.
Australians paused to honour our servicemen and women for Anzac Day at dawn services around the country.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese honoured fallen soldiers and current Australian Defence Force members during an address delivered along the Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea.
“What's abundantly clear today as many hundreds of thousands of Australians turned out to pay their respects before the monuments to the fallen that grace even the smallest of our towns, is the quiet pride and confidence, nearly all of us have, thank God, that this is still the best country in the world to live,” Ms Credlin said.
“And that's our challenge today: to keep it that way.
“We honour all those who have served and all those who still serve and hope that we might be worthy of their legacy and the country that their sacrifice has kept, and still keeps, free.
“Lest we forget.”
