Soon to be ex-wife gets a Million Dollar settlement after her husband was shot by deputies

The woman and a family member bought him guns that he was prohibited from owning.

On April 23, 2022, at approx. 2:44, this afternoon, Deputies were dispatched on a call for a suicidal subject, who was believed to be armed with a long gun.
After searching for nearly an hour and phones conversations with the adult male, the individual was located behind the CVS in Forest Hill. The interaction concluded with the Deputies’ discharging their firearms.
No Deputies were injured and there is no additional threat to community safety. The adult male was transported to a local hospital and has since died of his injuries.
