Ingredients
3 large potatoes(boiled and mashed)
1 small grated carrot(optional)
2 tsp fresh Coriander chopped
1tsp Salt
1 tsp red chilli
1
tsp oregano
1/2 cup Bread crumbs
1 tsp of cumin,coriander, and garlic powder
3 tspn corn flour
2tbsp flour mixed in 5 tbsp water( for coating)
1/2 cup bread crumbs for coating
Oil for frying
METHOD:
-Boil and mash the potatoes, then mix 1/2 cup cread
crumbs,corn flour, carrots, coriander, and all the spices
mentioned above.Mix them well.
-In 2tbspn flour add 5 tbspn water and form a slurry to
cover the potatoes
-Shape the potato mixture into a kabab, dip in slurry and
coat in bread crumbs.
-Heat oil in a wok and fry them on medium heat for 5-6
minutes till nicely golden and crisp.
-Insert a skewer in each fried potato stick.
Serve it with a refreshing Cucumber dip( mix 4 tbsp
yogurt+half a grated cucumber, with pinch of salt n
pepper,)
TIPS:
You can easily freeze them and use them later.
You can bake them for 15 minutes instead of frying
⁃ Add chicken,cheese or any vegetable of choice, options
are unlimited.
