some pth860 polling testing with evhz and otd
Edit: The lower polling rate is a low power state which exists for the pro pen 2 and slim pen. Older pens such as the grip pen and classic pen which are still compatible may not have the same behavior.
testing actual polling in libwacom and then OTD in relative and absolute mode.
Seems like the edge of libwacom's hover polls at 66Hz while the edge of OTD's hover polls at 111Hz approx while otherwise both favoring closer to an effective 220-230Hz-ish polling rate which is over the 200Hz spec sheet expectation. Neato!
Possible major shortcomings include that evhz is very very bad at recording accurate update rates/polling rates for cursors moving particularly slow. I believe this may be an issue to some extent at the edge of the hover ranges, but I considering testing the ctl472 in the same manner shows a stable approximately 133Hz rock solid I think this is still somewhat relevant testing.
